26/9/26 second comp in 2 weeks this time at Ingatestones strongest coming 5th pretty happy overall but a few things could’ve gone better

Event 1: 280kg trap bar deadlift for reps and pretty happy with 3 as I think 260kg was heaviest in training and that was for 2

Event 2: sandbag putt 24kg, 3 throws, cumulative distance 12.3 m

Event 3: 120 kg sandbag shoulder to shoulder the first one went alright took it down to my knees to try for the second the bag slipped forward and I just could not save it (bastard thing)

Event 4: circus dumbbell for reps it was a rampway option so I obviously went for the heaviest of 71 kg and happy with three would’ve liked more though😂

Event 5: the ingatestone hold, was kind of looking forward to this event and then two seconds in ruined my attempt by picking up the Stone awkwardly and it knocking my knee out from underneath me, what a muppet

Still a fun day overall

Ingatestone strongest today at @bionic_branch_barbell_club . Great run comp. Come 3rd overall which I was very happy. And 3 new PBs. Still tho a little disappointed with my performance in the sandbag to shoulder which I ended up throwing over my shoulder and dropping it which led me to get 0. If not for that would have been 2nd or maybe even first but that’s strongman for ya. Still congrats to @tiny_lifts_stones @tango_does_strongman

Massive thanks to my coach @alternationpt and all the events team who put on a great day.

And another thanks to @tiny_lifts_stones @fat.boy.grim for helping me keep my head in the game after my shitty sangbag attempt

Event 1 - Trap bar deadlift 280kg - 7 reps 2nd 🥈
Event 2 - 24kg sandbag shotput - 3rd 🥉
Event 3 - 120kg sandbag shoulder to shoulder - 5th 0
Event 4 - 71 kg circus dumbbell - 4 reps joint 1st 🥇
Event 5 - ingatestone hold 144kg/106kg - 37.5secs🥇

🌎 Pro Strongman League u90kg World Championship 🌎

📍 Texas, August 15th.

4th place, 0.5 points behind podium.

Travelled from 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to 🇺🇸 to throw it down against the strongest under90s in the world.

6 events, 4 hours, testing every aspect of strongman.

The best competition I have been a part of and an experience I won't forget.

Proud of how I performed and I know I can be even better, this is just the start.

Congrats to the 3x champ @thebamahamma who was in a league of his own all day. 🏆

Thank you to my coach @alternationpt I would not have achieved this without him, novice to world stage in under 3 years. Did not imagine this journey when we started out.

Also to @shannonsnutrition who has made a massive difference this year allowing me to compete in the best shape I have been at this weight.

Finally @csacoach_connor and @csacoach_adam for giving me the opportunity to get here by putting on PSL Europe's, not one to be missed next year.

ITS ON!!!!

Our Signature Event in our Strongman/woman Calendar……INGATESTONES STRONGEST 2026 is open to entries.

Hosted, as always, by the grassroots events organisers that truly set the ball rolling in 2019 by making all athletes feel like true “Strongmen/women”, with well organised events, being inclusive to all, & creating the opportunities to carry out disciplines that you otherwise would only see on the TV.

We are keen to continue supporting grassroots, as our efforts over the years has seen many of the now top UK athletes, including Pros, first take part in strongman at one of our events. Such as World u23 Champions @asg.strong , Ultimates Strongman athlete @rickythebeardaly & Giants Live athlete @blgstrength .

So here we are. Back with huge opportunities for grassroots strongman. With class, challenging events.

What everyone will get:
•T shirt for every entry
•Trophy for podium finishers
•Medal for those outside of top 3
•Warm up opportunities for each event (let’s not pretend that this is often a guarantee at most other comps 😂)

The categories available:

WCat1 = Womens “Entry” level. Around Beginners/Novice Level
WCat2 = Womens “Developed” level. Around Inters/Lower end Opens
MM40+ ‎ = Mens Masters 40+
MB = Men’s Beginners

MI = Men’s Inters
MO = Men’s Opens

See the Facebook event page, or @strengthregister for full event details.

What a day the strongman Mecca @bionic_branch_barbell_club . A hour or so with @alternationpt teaching me some finer points to lifting the dinnie stones and I managed the 300+ kg to qualify to attempt the real ones up in sunny Scotland. #dinniestones
