A lovely PV @studio.kind in Barnstaple, Devon last night. So lovely to be in great company. My large hooked textile piece ‘Nymet’ was hanging across from @laurakporter sculpture, across from @stella.tripp artwork (we are very often hanging together - which is lovely), across from @quietbritishaccent who was serving delicious wine, next to @altgnon and chuffed to be beside @adamsgarratt who I met for the first time last night though we have been in a few exhibitions together. An absolute delight - thank you for having me Studio Kind. #artindevon #artexhibition #textileart #fiberart #hooking #sustainableart #ecoart #studiokind #rebeccaholleyartworks #rebeccaholley

Meet our resident artists Introducing: @altgnon altgnon's story begins with lettering and language. asemic was becoming fascinated with what was going on in the decentralised space: wordless (and therefore global), asemic writing within a democratic and inclusive space. "I use asemic handwriting, calligraphy and digital layering techniques in my work. I consider myself a writer (of sorts), and rarely draw forms unless they are letterforms. So I look to my process to suggest structure and form." -- @altgnon See altgnon's portfolio below 👇🏻 https://altgnon.art/ #asemicwriting #asemicart #calligraphy #onlineresidency
