Top Mil, and 2nd overall! Pretty I’m happy with this place considering we were shooting in the rain the first day. The match flowed well, the stages were a good mix of challenging and fun. We’re looking forward to next year!

2027: THE NEXT EVOLUTION OF RIDGELINE DEFENSE

As Ridgeline Defense enters its 11th year training military professionals, law enforcement personnel, and dedicated civilian shooters, we’re taking the next step in the evolution of our training programs.

These changes represent more than an expanded calendar. They’re part of a broader commitment to continually improve how we train, how we teach, and ultimately, how our students perform.

Our instructors bring decades of operational experience, competitive success, and professional instruction to the range. But experience alone isn’t enough. We believe the best training programs must continually evolve, challenge conventional thinking, and measure success by the performance of their students.

That’s the standard we’ve pursued for the past decade, and it’s the standard we’ll continue pushing in 2027 and beyond.

Recce division winner PJ Karonis shows us how to run the guardrail stage at the Otter Creek Labs Holdover Havoc! Positions had to be worked in this particular order on two targets out to 568 yards. PJ had the fastest time for Recce division!

Join us Nov 14-15 at Arena Training Facility for the championship finale! Link in bio or on Impact Scoring.

Stage 6 at the @freestoneshootingcomplex September PRS match. The mover was fun. Got a little too ahead of myself and pulled one low. The other I’m not sure why it was low, but it be like that sometimes. This would’ve been really cool if I cleaned this stage. Oh well, either way it was a ton of fun and I’m really happy with this setup.

I’m still having a hard time believing that I won the grand prize of the charity raffle from the Hero Down Summit! To say I was shocked when they called my name is putting it mildly.

@larryhollen37 @nolan.t.roe and the amazing team at @ridgeline_defense and @altusshooting graciously put this training package together for the raffle. Also huge thanks to @johnny_hero_down_ and the @hero_down_foundation team for making this happen.

I could not be more excited to bring 9 friends down to check out the Ridgeline Gulf Coast facility and dive into the world of NRL Hunter with the absolute best in the business!

Swapped a suppressor mid match. Didn’t confirm zero. Cleaned the next stage at the @freestoneshootingcomplex October PRS match.

A little context: leading up the match I was trying a new suppressor setup and ran into some weird anomalies (which we’ll talk about once we have it all figured out) and I thought I had it all squared away, but brought my trusty @kgmsuppressors just to in case and I’m glad I did. After the issues came back in the first 2 stages of the day which cost me some easy points so I put my R65K back on and couldn’t confirm zero but it was spot on and I was able to clean stage 5. That’s given me confidence in the setup again and a little less stressed going into @prsuit_series this weekend.

Also, thankfully I was able to get this figured out before that field turned into soup.

What a great day to be on the range! Super proud of all the shooters who came out to Ridgeline Gulf Coast for the Altus 2gun challenge! The weathermen missed the forecast by a mile and it was perfect weather all day! Make sure to join us at Silver Creek Range on October 31st for our Halloween Match and back at Ridgeline on Nov 7th for the Okaloosa County Sheriff Charity Match!

Stage 4 from the @freestoneshootingcomplex September PRS match.

This one was a bit tricky for me, but a solid test of my wind corrections. The wind picked up in the middle of the stage and died off at the end. Shot 3 confused me a bit because the dust went up behind the target and given the wind direction and my hold I didn’t think it would do that which is why I was confused if it was a hit or not. Being able to spot misses and make corrections on this stage gave me a lot of confidence going forward with this setup.
