I was crazy busy working a TCG event this weekend but the vamp cosplay looks I did see when I was able to log on here had me blown away per usual! So awesome to see so many people in the community come together for a good cause and have a little nerdy fun too! 🥰🩸

Ahhh I’m so in love with how these pics came out! It was an honor to be one of the models chosen to bring this shoot to life for @altxdfw September Vampire Goth Edition (If you love the alternative/goth scene, be sure check them out rn if you haven’t hehe and if you’re an alt person in DFW then run don’t walk 😆🖤)

My inspo for this look was 90s/00s black vampires (think Angela Bassett, Sanaa Lathan, Aaliyah) so I went with dark, full hair, cool toned highlighter and eyeshadow (a nod to the “colder” features of trad goth looks), piercing blue/grey contacts, a bloody ombré lip, and my flowy, sheer Spinnerette Spider dress from @forestinkclothing that added that classy but alluring vibe that gave timeless to me! 🥰🖤

Everyone, models and photographers alike at the shoot were so kind and respectful of our shooting location! Offerings were left at each area we shot and we made sure not to disturb, step on, or desecrate anyone’s resting places!

Goth/Alternative/Vampiric Style isn’t a monolith and it’s so amazing to see all of the different interpretations and time periods come together!

O to be a Vampyre 🦇

An eternity of longing and suffering, bound by hunger and rage.

I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this shoot!! I was so grateful to be chosen by @altxdfw The photos are lovely 🌹 These are my solos and a couple group shots!

My outfit was paying homage to the campy horror films made by Hammer Film Productions during the 60s and 70s. I have always loved the costuming of this era, and it influenced me to begin my collection of vintage nightgowns and other apparel from the 1960-1970s. I even named my clothing business after Carmilla, a lesbian vampire in 18th century literature.

So I love me some Vampires 🖤😍
