Life Update:
I got stage 3 melanoma (cancer) in my lymph nodes, but MD Anderson has been amazing in hooking me up with the best care. Going to be a crappy few months, but should be fine after that.

We’ve got 10 cats in the house. 3 fosters. Now that I’ve been told to slow down, maybe I start posting cat content?

Lastly, I’ve got the best job @alveussanctuary, we are building a 3+ acre mexican wolf enclosure for 5-8 wolves and joining that SAFE program. Huge and fun projects that is being completed by the end of the year.

Baked bean is one of the male cockroaches at @alveussanctuary !!!

The white is the soft insides crawling out of the old shell cus he’s grew out of it! The new shell hardened over a few hours and turned brown again.

BTW the small bugs on Baked Bean are beneficial mites that help clean him up.

As we continue Wolf Awareness Week, let's meet the smallest Wolf SubSpecies in the United States!! The Mexican Grey Wolf once had a large range that spanned from the mountainous region of the southwest to Mexico!! Due to over hunting of the species as they were seen as pests by farmers, the population was decimated.

Thankfully, conservation efforts in zoos have helped rebound the species with Brookfield Zoo and Endangered Wolf Center playing a large role in the breeding population!!! With other amazing conservation organizations looking to working with the species in the near future. I look forward to seeing the continued success of this amazing species
