POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Avoiding making a post because it makes this all too real but for the sake of my daughter who shared an abundant amount of memories with her 2Mama… It’s hard to process a life without someone you spent your whole life with. The reality hits me every time I see a picture of you on here. Every photo reminds me that your experience here is completed and that’s a reality I’m still learning to accept. Watching the love people have shared for you has been beautiful. So many have talked about what an incredible mother, aunt, friend, and mother figure you were to them. And while all of that is true, I just needed to say that you were a damn good grandmother. Thank you for loving my daughter the way you did. Thank you for the memories you gave her and the love she will carry with her forever. It was so many weeks and weekends that I had to ask for my daughter back. 😭 Through all of our disagreements, I know we both agreed on one thing: God is good. And that’s what I’ll hold onto. You always had a way of correcting me, even down to calling you “girl” as a term of endearment. And you know I can be stubborn with a slick mouth like you 😭 So, To my MIL, Girl, get your rest. Job well done. I’ll do exactly what you wanted me to do: celebrate your life, love on your family, and keep praying for them. Lord, I ask that You bring peace, comfort, and healing to every heart that’s hurting - to my siblings, to your only son, my husband, to your grandchildren, and especially to your very first granddaughter, your bestie, Mia. Have a good time up there 🫶🏽
