Cryptic "don't give anything away" BTS from THE LIGHT

Hollywood is not ready for the tidal wave of talent emanating from this project

Camp Hollywood is the greatest teaching grounds for those wanting to break into the industry

I love my life and the opportunities given to me to write, direct, and edit this incredible story.

The Light

Our 2026 Camp Hollywood Film

A short film based on the cruel labels others may place on you.

"Eight teenage girls wake in a cosmic trap where they're forced to judge each other by their labels.

CHEATER. PRETENDER. GUIDE. WITNESS. HUNTER. LIAR. BELIEVER. SKEPTIC.

But the deeper they fight, confess, pray, doubt, and rage, the more they discover they might not be enemies at all."

This year’s Camp Hollywood short is called THE LIGHT.

It’s a story about the labels some might throw at you to try and dim your light.

Things like...

Lazy. Liar. Coward. Cheater. Pretender...

Cool. LET THEM.

Because here’s the truth: somebody can call you blue all day long. It doesn’t make your skin blue.

The world can be cruel. People can be careless. But you do not have to accept every name thrown at you.

Especially for these eight girls.

I want them to remember this forever:

You aren't the names people call you.

You know who you are in your heart.

Never let someone else dim your light.

Incredibly proud of my students this year who took the AP Drawing and or AP 2D Studio Art portfolios! 8 students scored 5s, 4 scored 4s and one student had a perfect score of 100%! This year’s judging was tough! Fewer than 10% scored 5s and 4s. None of my students scored below a 4. I’m thrilled for them!
Here are the 5s. I’ll post the 4s too
