over the years I’ve struggled a lot with feeling more shy and having less and less hope in true community!!! when I started coming to these dance parties i’d been a little reserved at first despite being a professional dancer/choreographer but coming into this space is teaching me how integral community is to the human experience. that there are many ways you can love an receive love and what this feels like. more than anything it’s shown me the capacity for love that I have and i’ll always have so much love to give even in my brokenness.

sometimes an evening dancing in nature with other kind people is the remedy for a heart that’s been darkened. i’ll forever die on the hill that GENUINE love and GENUINE community is the remedy for all❤️‍🩹

building intentional community is one of the pillars of my #reclamationofsoul journey. balancing joy with ethics is sometimes difficult. sometimes i feel it would be easier to literally drop “integrity” bc what has my integrity rlly done for ME…

BUT i’ve met a number of people this past week and been in spaces like this that are showing me that holding to my boundaries is slowly starting to build a life where i feel truly seen, comfortable in myself and in any situation, and MASSIVELY fulfilled. i wouldnt trade that for anything!!!

Despite a lifelong love for fitness and sports, I never seriously considered a career in fitness—until life quite literally crashed and burned when I moved to LA. I found my safety net in wellness, met one of my now close friends @pilates_thierry_llc , and after a little bit of belief (and several forced Pilates sessions with my friends and family), I stumbled upon one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.

Teaching Pilates aligns with every fiber of my being. The trust my students place in me—the willingness to learn, to fail, and to grow—is something so vulnerable, and I’m grateful for it every single day. With every strength and weakness I see in my students, I discover them in myself, pushing me to wake up a better person than I was the day before.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. This community has welcomed me with open arms, and I am endlessly thankful. On Valentine’s Day and every day, I love you all so dearly. Can’t wait to see where this path leads next. ♥️ #MoveLikeLiz #pilatesinstructor #valentinesday

The world has been crazy lately and so I am full of extra love and gratitude for the celebrations of life. Truly a special birthday surrounded by the best humans! 🙏❤️Thank you @eplosangeles for having us and being so gracious. It was a whole day marathon where we started with drinks then roller skates and then predictably ended up @barneysbeanery
