Celebrating 20 years in the beauty industry and 16 incredible years as the proud owner of Mila Chic—a lifelong dream come true.

I’m endlessly grateful for my family, friends, amazing clients, and dedicated staff who have helped make this dream a reality. Mila Chic has become more than a salon; it’s a second home where staff and clients can relax, feel beautiful, and truly belong. Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to many more years of growth, giving back, and creating something special together.

Happy New Year
Xoxo Mila 💋

We do not know where to start but we do know we want to give a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to the York University community! Through your support and contributions we were able to raise over $7,600 for the Canadian Cancer Society. We were also able to host our first OVERNIGHT Relay for Life event! Thank you to everyone for coming out and rallying together in the journey to curing cancer. Hearing your experiences and perspectives while also having fun at the event was very touching (hope you enjoyed the pancakes provided by @alwaysp_ncakes). We hope it was a memorable experience.

Thank you to @youthrelay for your support to our chapter and guiding us through the highs and lows of our event planning.

Thank you to @yorkurecreation for letting us host the overnight event and working with us throughout the year to ensure it went smoothly. We are so appreciative of your entire team and can not thank you enough for the support.

Thank you to @bethunecollege for your generous support in sponsoring the event. Your contributions helped make Relay possible and we are so grateful. Additionally, thank you for organizing a relay team and encouraging your constituents to attend. Go Dragons!

Thank you to @yusportcouncil @pawsyu for creating a team and attending the event. Not only did your team raise the most amount of money but you also had the most amount of members. You truly showed us that varsity player’s hearts match their incredible athletic talents. Go Lions!

Finally, one more thank you again to the @yorkuniversity community. Relay can only be done when there are amazing students like yourselves who want to make a change in the face of cancer. We look forward to many more Relay’s at York in the years to come to keep supporting the @cancersociety. If you’re interested in joining the executive team, keep an eye on our Instagram for more information coming soon =)

Huge thanks to Always Pancakes (@alwaysp_ncakes ) for keeping us fueled with UNLIMITED pancakes while we discussed 🥳

Special shoutout to @myeventplannersca for the stunning “Breakfast With” backdrop and @kingjohnbuilding for their beautiful space!

And of course, thank you to all of our entrepreneurs who came out and engaged in such a meaningful discussion🙌🏿

After our enriching discussion, we set up a vendor market in Gore Park with our friends from Downtown BIA (@dwntwnhamont).
