NOVEMBER CALENDAR DROP 🍂🍁

November brings a couple of field trips (yay!) Forest Park 🪾, what?! And the old tried and true, Banks Vernonia Trail 👟. We have a crazy loop 😱challenge up our sleeves so bring your best trail kicks and fresh legs and show us what you got! As we close out November, so will the last remnants of the PSL ☕️. Truth be told, I’m not a huge fan but I LOVE pumpkin scones, pumpkin cream cheese muffins and a warmed pumpkin spiced loaf. But hey, let’s bring it with a fun and tasty farewell to PSL treat competition!🧁🥮🍰

As always, we would love to have you join our goofball crew for some or all. The best part of the run is sharing it with friends and the community that trail running brings.

Post run treats and warm drinks await you!

Run safe and run soon!

Kicking off the morning with miles at the @washcoparks Haunted 5K at Hagg Lake! The costumes were amazing, and the volunteers’ spooky scares were 10/10!

Thanks, everyone, for coming and participating! 🎃🎃👻

Let’s allow the trails to keep bringing us together, the forests to lift our spirits, and the muscle soreness we carry after wandering across our Mother Earth to remind us of how alive we are, and how grateful we feel to have healthy bodies that carry us to the most beautiful places, alongside wonderful people. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Last race for 2026 is in the books! 📚

Not the race I planned to run, but an experience nonetheless. A beautiful and humbling one. With my training block basically hanging by a thread the last couple of months, I didn’t have high expectations, though the back of the mind goals were still there.

I hit my wall at mile 16 out of nowhere. I was feeling good. Loving the relaxing, easy pace. Then it all just fell apart. My quad locked out of nowhere. My hip was reminding me my gait was off. I texted my husband that I was done but I didn’t want to quit. I cried walking up a hill trying to shake it off. It was definitely not what I was expecting and teaches you how much of running is truly mental.

I am grateful for the crowd - truly one of the best crowds in any race I’ve done. So much energy and support. I am grateful for my friends and the community I have found in running. I couldn’t have found better people to surround myself with.

Most importantly, I am so beyond blessed for my husband. Who continues to support and push me to my full potential. The best cheerleader in the world.

Portland Marathon (and half) will always be my favorite and one I plan to continue doing. 2027 here I come!

I had so much fun cheering on all the runners at @pdxmarathon this morning and seeing friends absolutely crushing it out on the course!! 🔥👏🏻

Even got to do some spectating at mile 24 with @coachbennett , which was pretty awesome 📣🎉

There’s just something really special about being out there supporting your friends and the running community…knowing how much time, hard work and effort they put into training and getting to that start line. I am SO PROUD of all the runners who crossed that finish line today! ❤️

Hope to be out there racing with everyone again soon! But until then, I’m more than happy to be there cheering you all on from the sidelines ☺️

A week out and recovered from @gobeyondracing Mountain Lakes 💯 and I’ve finally had the chance to process what was just accomplished.
•
After literal years of peaks and training for this distance, only to be let down by fires and cancellations, it feels indescribable to finally put this in the bank as my 100 mile debut. Sub24 is just a cherry on top of an already sweet weekend.
•
Spent 70 miles of trail with my brother from another mother @noahgoodwintraining , working through every curveball that was thrown our way.
Exactly how we trained for it over countless hours, days and weeks. More on that later but I wouldn’t have had it any other way! 🫂
•
All in all, I had an amazing day/night! Not one shoe adjustment or change all day. Thank you @runspeedland as always. No foot pain or issues for 23 hours says everything!
As usual, @pathprojects kept me beyond comfortable and worry free during the big temp swings. More on these choices later but in one word, “LOMOND!” iykyk
•
Most importantly, to my tribe, my crew, my people… This would not have been possible without everyone of you! It takes a village… actually it takes more than that and you all went well above and beyond. Endlessly Grateful and I LOVE you every single one of you!!🙏🏼

Another? Definitely!

Camping, Crewing, and Camaraderie.

Cooper and I had the pleasure to go camping and assist Christine in crushing another 100 mile race.

Olallie Lake was a gem and hope to come back one day.
