A thank you letter to @um_asota,

I’ve said this many times, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to make art at the University of Mobile. I have grown so much within the past year and I am so thankful to know and be known by these wonderful people. I am beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to learn under the faculty and staff. I truly cannot imagine my life without these wonderful faces!❤️🎓

Also, curse instagram for only allowing me 20 people to tag. That’s not cool dude…

This semester has been so sweet and so fun…but let’s talk about what else it’s been.
I would’ve never imagined the chaos that would ensue after one urgent care visit for a migraine. A week in the hospital, some scary conversations with doctors, and a seriously hard time away from my people…
But I also never would’ve imagined the beauty that could come from it. A renewed confidence that Jesus’ consistent grace covers all of my inability. When I can’t form the words, His Spirit intercedes. When I can’t go on, His strength carries me. When I can’t see a way through, His grace is sufficient. And when I’m overwhelmed, He is my perfect peace. How incredibly lucky are we that the sovereign God of creation meets US in our weakness??

“Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭

It’s been a rough end to the semester…but it’s a beautiful thing to be reminded that His power is perfected in my weakness and His grace provides me the opportunity to be content in any suffering!

And man, I’m just really building up that medical portfolio. Plus I had the best people keeping me company and keeping me sane…even in the midst of their finals!

See you in August UM…see you never University Hospital✌🏻

Freshman year wasn’t perfect got rearended 😑, got a flat tire, cried…a lot, I had my awkward moments, I said the wrong thing or did the wrong thing, and definitely made some embarrassing mistakes, but that’s okay. Because I also laughed harder than I ever have, took so many naps, watched so many movies( Alyna can attest), loved deeply, grew in my faith, met my people, and learned so much about who I am and who I am becoming. My mom lore will go crazy. So I’m grateful for the journey and onto the many more lessons I’ll have next year.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”

UM 25–26 🤍

I can’t believe this year is already over. I truly thank the Lord for this school year every single day. He has taught me so much through every moment, every challenge, and especially through the people He placed in my life. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for this school and the friendships that came from it.

This year gave me memories I’ll hold onto forever laughing nonstop, late nights, busy days, and the kind of friends that become family. I’m so thankful for the way the Lord used this year to grow me and surround me with people who encouraged me, loved me, and walked through it all with me.
Thankful for the best time with my best friends
1 more year left!!

Loved getting to perform in one last Spec at UM. It’s definitely been an adventure, but I’m so glad I got to finish it with all of my friends. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

What a great experience! Shrek has been one of my favorite musical since I was little and it was such a blessing to stage manager this show. It was a BEAST most definitely but it was worth it in the end. The cast did a beautiful job and I am so proud of everyone!💚🎭
