Wow, what a scary good weekend! I had a blast taking videos and clips for the performers at BAWDY HORROR. @bawdybawdyhaha shows are always special, but this one just hit a certain way. 🧡🎃 Our headliner @qweenquan truly is Most Dazzling onstage! I had the pleasure of hosting them in my home this weekend, and it was a treat to chat with them and learn more about their multi-faceted career, their current projects, and their viewpoint on the artform. And it's always a delight to have @katertot_onehotpotato headline at Bawdy! I am incredibly inspired by Kater Tot. The first time I saw them pertorm, I thought, "Oh! I want to make the audience feel the way that Kater Tot makes me feel." I'm always blown away by them, not only by their amazing comedic energy but by the intricacies in the stories they tell in their performances.

Another bonus of Bawdy shows is having the opportunity to take classes taught by the headliners. I had a great time engaging with different clowning and acting concepts as part of Kater Tot's "Commit to the Bit" class, and experimenting with movements in Qween Quan's class, "Dancy Fans." I learned that I am definitely NOT ready for a fan act, and have a ways to go in expanding my range of motion and flexibility first. But maybe some day!

Counting my blessings on fingers and toes… grateful and happy to be alive and loved. I love these humans so much! Not the highest quality of picture but the happiness in my heart seeing all these faces that I love is fine with that. ❤️🍀🥰

Some photos from the @bawdybawdyhaha Sweet Tooth Tease show at @clubbasix last Friday! What a great venue for queer art: lovely staff, plenty of seating, convenient parking (an underrated amenity!), and a big ol' stage. The performers took advantage of every single delicious inch of that stage and delivered a show so sweet it could rot your teeth. 🍬🍫🍭

Our host Craw Daddy (@wileyguyote) had me shrieking with laughter at his antics. We are so spoiled to have such warm, exuberant, hilarious hosts for our shows. ❤️
