Wow what a special and monumental daytona this was for me🤍

For 18 year old morgan, who just wanted to find a school and cheer program that she fits in and loves after her first school wasn’t the best for her.

For 19 year old morgan. who got diagnosed as T1D and had to build up all her body strength and mass back after surviving through Severe DKA.

For 20 year old morgan, who had her first major and first ever surgery to remove a huge cystic tumor. who had the worst mental health and breakdowns from people talking about her body and image when she was just trying to survive the day-to-day with her new autoimmune disease and figure out what her body did and didn’t need.

To now, for 21 year old morgan who finally got to compete in daytona again since she was 18 and finally got the take that mat in the black and gold. and got 2nd in our division for our first year competing in D1!

Forever grateful for all the adversities and challenges life has thrown at me to show me how strong and resilient of a person i am able to be :’)

Has it been an easy journey? absolutely not. but one i am eternally grateful for <3

Another big thank you to LULC and @lindenwoodcheerleading for helping me overcome and navigate the unimaginable while giving me a great support system and friend group 💛 I would not be who i am today without the love from this program and i’m so glad i decided to come to lindenwood 3 years ago :)
LAST ONE BEST ONE FOR SURE 🥹🫶
