POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday was a day full of all things pageantry! I started my morning off in Buckhannon, WV, emceeing the first annual Miss Upshur County Children’s Pageant! Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you Jaeneika for inviting me!

Then I made a quick stop at Oliverio’s in Clarksburg, WV, to check out their awesome gown selection!

Then I traveled to Spencer, WV, for The WV Black Walnut Festival Pageant. I loved getting to cheer on all the contestants, especially my girl Anna Poore, who performed fabulously! Congratulations to the 2026 Queen and Teen Queen, Natalie Mertz and Audrey Johnson, and congratulations to Lakyn Campbell on an amazing reign!

I know it’s been a week but to sum up one of the best weeks on my life in one post is hard. This is something I’ve dreamed and worked towards for 8 years! It was nothing short of amazing and I can’t wait for more memories to come

🌄 WV FFA State Convention 🌄

This past week, WV FFA members gathered to celebrate the 97th Annual State Convention. Members competed in contests, learned more about themselves, and formed meaningful friendships they’ll cherish forever.

This year’s convention looked a lot different for me. Since my freshman year of high school, I have dreamed of becoming a West Virginia FFA State Officer. After several years of networking, growing as a leader, and dedicating myself to learning more about FFA, I was blessed with the opportunity to run for state office.

Throughout the process, I learned so much about myself and had the privilege of meeting 12 of the BEST people who all share a passion and vision for West Virginia agriculture and FFA.

It is my greatest honor to serve alongside eight of those individuals this year as a State Officer. My sincere hope is that I can leave a positive impact on our organization and live up to the incredible standard set by the outstanding State Officer Team that retired today.

I would also like to extend a huge THANK YOU to God, the WV FFA members, my friends, my family, my FFA advisors (Mrs.Emily Hunt Jackson, Mrs.Carla L-Mullins, Mr.Craig Canterbury, and Ms.Rylee Brown), and all of the past State Officers who graciously poured countless hours of their time and knowledge into preparing me for this next chapter of my life.

West Virginia FFA, I am beyond excited and humbled to serve you as your 2026–2027 State President!

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.” — Psalms 9:1

Graduating hurts a little more when you realize some people were only meant for this chapter. #rhsalumni
