POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Once upon a time, some 100 years ago (or so it feels), I had a VISION. 💀🎃
A dream that one day, during the Halloween season, our humble home would be known far and wide as THE SKELETON HOUSE. Skeletons climbing walls, crawling from windows, and wreaking havoc upon our estate.

Alas, such dreams came at a price, for skeletons have never been particularly kind to the royal treasury. 💸

But LO AND BEHOLD! A glorious sale appeared before me! EIGHT 5-foot skeletons with GLOWING RED EYES! Naturally, I purchased every last one.

But 8 simply would not do.

So I searched far and wide until I discovered more skeletal souls in a distant kingdom!

Unable to make the treacherous journey myself, I sent word by carrier pigeon (also known as text message 📱🕊️) to my beautiful and loyal friend, Lady Kristy. And without hesitation, the brave Lady Kristy, accompanied by her faithful daughter, the Fair Maiden Alyssa, journeyed to the distant kingdom, and gathered the lifeless souls.

And thus, my army of TWENTY skeletons was assembled.💀
Now, all that remains is convincing my husband that this is a perfectly reasonable number of skeletons for one household.
STAY TUNED, my loyal subjects. My Halloween masterpiece is about to RISE FROM THE DEAD! 🎃🤣

So honored to photograph my beautiful niece in Savannah. 🤍 Between the gorgeous scenery and the charm of this city, I couldn’t have asked for a prettier backdrop. Savannah really is something special!

The end of my favorite chapter 🩷

If anyone would’ve told me that Tuesday would be the last time I’d ever get to play high school volleyball, I wouldn’t have believed them. This year, this team, has genuinely meant so much to me. Being able to play alongside my best friends during my senior year has been the biggest blessing God has given to me.

I want to thank my parents for all their love and support over the years. From the early morning drives to the late night games, you have been there for it all and I’m so beyond grateful to have such amazing parents in my life.

To my coaches, thank you for always believing in me and pouring into me. You’ve all helped me develop into who I am today and shaped my growth as not only a volleyball player, but as a person as well.

Lastly to my amazing teammates who have been there through it all. Without you guys by my side, I don’t know where I’d be. I’m so so proud of every single one of you. This year has been my favorite year yet, and I’m so happy to have experienced it with all of you. My core 4 and fab 5, I love you girls so much and I’m lucky to be able to call you my best friends. Our post-game bus talks, car/locker room rotting, and our pre-game meals, are things I will never forget. Thank you all for making my senior year beyond memorable.

I’m so sad I’m closing this chapter of my life, but this has been the absolute best part of my high school journey. I love you all so much!

Volleyball wasn’t always a part of my life. I started my freshman year because my friends were playing and little did I know this sport would become one of my greatest loves in life. It’s taught me teamwork, dedication, determination, love, friendship and so many more lessons but best of all it gave me my best friends.

I Thank God so much for putting this sport with these amazing girls in my life, they’ve made the biggest impact on me and have given me the best memories I think I’ll ever have. To think that I was going to quit after my first year is insane because none of this would be here now.

Thankyou to all of my coaches who have helped me develop so so much throughout the years I’m forever grateful, and Thankyou most of all mommy and daddy for always believing in your little girl. For the early morning practices, for being in the stands supporting me and for loving me through it all.

I’m so sad that it’s over but I know that we ended on a high! I’m so proud of how every last one of us played on that court. We left it all out there and I wouldn’t of wanted to end it another way than being out there with my girls one last time. Don’t take these moments for granted as they don’t last as long as you think.

And finally to my core four and fabulous 5. You guys are literally my reason why. I love you girls more than you’ll know and we will forever be bonded through not only this sport but through our immense love for each other. From bus rides, to Panera bread after a win, to rants after practice and car rotting for an hour, I’ll never forget these amazing times. Love you
