What an enchanting weekend of La Sylphide! Thank you to everyone who joined us, both in-person and virtually. We were so grateful to share this production with our audience for the very first time. 🤍🧚‍♀️

🧙‍♀️ MADGE: Madge is a woman of mystery. Shunned by James early in La Sylphide, this vindictive witch decides to see his happiness destroyed. With her skill of manipulation and talent for magical arts, she is a force to be reckoned with. Don’t ask her to tell your fortune unless you’re prepared to hear the worst.

La Sylphide takes the @marylandhall stage, October 16-18! Visit our La Sylphide page through the link in our bio to purchase tickets.

What a Momentum! I was honored to portray the Hummingbird in @dgo_sosa’s Las Alas del Mainumby and so happy to get to perform in @misterwestjr’s piece, Rose Quartz 💚🩷 I am also deeply grateful to all the dancers who brought my piece, Ma Petite, to the stage. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of dancers to help tell this story 🥰🥰

IN THE STUDIO: Company dancer Michael West Jr. returns as a choreographer for the third time in Momentum: A Mixed Bill. This season, he collaborates with our dancers to restage "Rose Quartz," an original work first created for the George Washington Carver Center. Inspired by the crystal rose quartz—often associated with compassion, unconditional love, self-love, and kindness—the piece explores connection in both romantic and platonic relationships.

Join us at Maryland Hall on February 13 at 7:30 PM and February 14 at 7:00 PM for Ballet Theatre of Maryland's Momentum: A Mixed Bill. Tickets are available at www.BalletMaryland.org or through the link in our bio.
