Snapshots from a winter weekend camping in the desert. Just a few days before a super bloom as it turns out. It’s definitely totally fine that we missed the flowers. I don’t care I don’t care I don’t care

Half dome done - here is us at the top!!!! I had sooo much fun - absolutely loved climbing the cables! 🤩

I forgot to restart my garmin after lunch, but we had a 12 hour day and hiked about 19.3 miles. Between hiking with the best crew and the beautiful trees, this was an amazing day!

Excited to start!

Climbing up! From bottom to top:
@rj.nevarez in the white tank and hat
@alyssanevarrrez in all blue
I’m in all black
@nick_03h in the white T-shirt and jeans
@ag_acosta leading us in the purple/red jacket

Right when I came down from the top. Such a fun experience!

A bloom to celebrate (and energize us for the hike back down)

The best hiking group 🥾

Love you 😘

Sadly fire smoke obscured the views from the top of the dome 😭 This video was taken before beginning to hike the sub-dome, it’s the clearest view I captured

Almost at the sub-dome

Enjoying a flat portion as a break

There was very little water while we were there, so we were excited to see at least one (tiny) waterfall

💚

Alyssa’s new trail bestie

I hate lizards, but this one was tiny enough to be cute 😂

Taking a little break

Almost there!

Our sweet treat reward back at camp 🍩
