I had to cancel my backpacking trip this past week due to nonstop rain and thunderstorms. But I ended up exactly where I was supposed to be instead. Vacation with dad and sissy!

Craggy Gardens trail, our air bnb in Black Mountain, impromptu stop at Lake Junaluska (lots of family roots & memories there) & fishing at Mount Trashmore. I’ll cherish the memories we made together this past week for the rest of my life.

Got to explore a new state park yesterday with @alyvenners . We saw so many fossils!!!! Left with two lil shark teeth. Felt really inspired when I got home so I made jewelry with things I’ve collected from nature over the years. What a perfect day.
