I’ve been sitting on this one for a while, this place and these people haven’t left my mind🥹🤍

@franciscogelladance slide 9 says it all 😭 your belief in me since day 1 and everything you have done for me over the past few years means more than I can express in words. I’m so grateful for the spaces you create and to have you as such an impactful part of my journey 🤍
@missjulie1220 , @meredithebrown , @vladimirreche , Seth, Allegra, Francois, Olivia - I loved every moment of dancing and learning from you and deeply appreciate all the knowledge you shared with us🫶
@acreativelegacy , @tara_debevec1 , and @dancingwithfrancisco fam - I can’t thank you all enough for being my home away from home. I’ll always remember how much more achievable my dreams of a career in dance felt after my first PDI. To be back here with everyone (over my 18th birthday no less!) was so incredibly special 💚

What a challenging and inspiring long weekend @preprodancerprep ! This experience opened my eyes to the many possibilities dance can take me as I look toward the future. Thank you @missjulie1220 , @meredithebrown , @vladimirreche , @franciscogelladance , and Seth Steward for sharing your stories, knowledge, and choreography.

Thank you, @franciscogelladance , for the invitation, for believing in me, and for reminding all of us that we need to believe in ourselves! That we each have so much to offer through our unique talents, gifts, and love for dance.

I will carry this weekend with me throughout my journey and remember that I am always exactly where I need to be, learning, growing, and becoming the dancer I am meant to be!

PDI 2026 🫀🌞

extremely grateful for the last 5 days in Santa Fe and all I experienced.

my biggest takeaway from this past week is the profound impact of our collective support. when we lean on one another, we don’t just sustain our community; we keep the art form itself alive and evolving, we serve the art. there is something truly special about showing up for each other and honoring the craft through our shared dedication. at the same time, I’ve realized that serving the art begins with dancing for yourself. when you find joy in your own movement, that energy naturally radiates outward, bringing happiness to everyone around you. utimately, nurturing a versatile and balanced dance life is the key—it keeps you grounded, and ready to grow. ✨

Introducing our Second group of outstanding dancers accepted into The Preprofessional Dancer Institute Class of 2026.

Artistic Directors: @franciscogelladance & @missjulie1220

For Dancers Pursuing Big Dreams
September 3 -September 7, 2026

We are getting excited for the start of the Preprofessional Dancer Institute (PDI) in New Mexico over Labor Day Weekend, where for five exhilarating days, 100 extraordinary young artists from across the globe gather. We cannot wait to celebrate the magic of movement and the limitless possibilities PDI holds in New Mexico.

Dancers train in concert, show, and commercial dance, alongside improvisation, partnering, men’s class and pointe (for everyone) within a rigorous and varied schedule that equips dancers with the tools of endurance, focus, and adaptability, that they will need heading out to the professional dance world.

Additionally, workshops and discussions are geared toward career related issues, providing dancers and their families with knowledge that can better aid them in their preparation.

Congrats for your outstanding achievement, dancers!
