2025 you were a vibe 📻📀🎞️🎥
a very full year, but full in such a good way! super thankful for the fact that God is good and that does not change. when the seasons of our life do, He doesn’t. He is always so so good. and those different seasons allow us to see His goodness in different ways.

something God’s been teaching me, and still is teaching me is to not make those different seasons compete with each other. but instead, to be present in each season, and be grateful that they change. and that’s been a hard thing for me with going into college and realizing that i have to completely let a lot of things go,- good things that were amazing during the season they were meant for- in order to make room for the good things God has meant for this season.

and it is such an incredible gift that we’re so undeserving of, to get to live life knowing the author and orchestrator of every single season. and to realize that because He is in every one of them, every season is good, even if it feels like there’s less to celebrate than the season before- each season is meant for celebrating God’s goodness, to find it in every part:)

& God has made that so evident this year:) how encouraging is it that we don’t “peak” in high school, or in college, or in what we feel was the best season of life, because we don’t peak in our relationship with God. we never arrive. but everyday He puts breath in our lungs is a day to get to know Him more and try to be more like Him. and what a gift it is to live life FULLY because of that:)

super thankful that a new season meant room for new good things☺️ spending my summer in a new way, going to a new school with new friends that are just as sweet as old ones , a new team i get to compete with now, and new roommates that have turned out to be my best friends! thank you Jesus, for 2025:)

DOVE DUO💜🕊️

This week’s Dove Duo is Abigail Lott and Alyzza Millan! Below, they reflect on what makes Sigma Kappa and the deep bond they’ve built through the sisterhood:

Abigail Lott:
Sigma kappa is so special to me because it gave me a community of girls that I can go to for anything. I was skeptical about joining a sorority because I didn’t think that it was for me, but I am so unbelievably grateful that I did. I have met some of the greatest friends that will be by my side no matter what. I know that I’ll always have someone to call at any time because that’s the bond that we have within sigma kappa. My best friends, family, and roommates have come from sigma kappa and I couldn’t be happier. Alyzza my perfect child is so special to me because since the beginning I just felt like we clicked really well, and there’s never a dull moment when I’m with her. I originally wasn’t planning on taking a little, but then Alyzza was my bid day buddy and I just knew I was meant to be her big. We instantly became so close and were hanging out all the time. Alyzza is so special to me and I’m so lucky to have her as a little

Alyzza Millan:
Sigma Kappa is special to me because it has given me a true sisterhood — a group of women I can surround myself with, lean on, and care for deeply. These sisters have become my home away from home, constantly reminding me of the importance of love, support, and growth.

Abigail is special to me both in and out of Sigma Kappa because she has been my constant source of encouragement and light. From the very beginning — all the way back to Bid Day — she has been someone I could look up to, trust, and truly be myself around. She brings out the fun, confident side of me that I sometimes forget to show, and I’ll always be grateful for that. Our bond has only grown stronger since Big/Little reveal — that moment truly made everything feel complete. Knowing that someone as genuine, caring, and honest as Abigail is by my side makes this sisterhood even more meaningful. She’s not just a sister to me, but a role model and a lifelong friend who continues to inspire me every day
