Four years ago today, I decided to take a leap of faith and make a move from Miami to New York—to purse my dream to becoming an even stronger journalist.✍️✍️

Two days prior I had graduated from my bachelor’s in communications (aka always been journalism- @fiuinstagram what’s up with that?) and move straight into grad school @columbiajournalism @columbia -a dream turned to a crazy reality.✨

Ever since then, the journey can only be described as its own virtuoso trek.🚶🏼‍♂️

People oftentimes ask me if I prefer living in Miami rather than up here and I always smile and say “I miss Miami of course!” It’s home to me, but I have also learned a lot about myself and the world moving up here and have grown in ways that I think I couldn’t have living back in FL.🌴

Not everybody made it to the photos, but know that indubitably you’ve also made it a part of this journey, if you feel like you resonate with my message.📣

We move like the ocean! I am truly blessed to be standing in places I once thought were impossible, but we’ve made it possible by grace, dedication, and heart!🌊
