“All those 100’s of movies I grew up watching movies with my family and friends. VHS tapes, VCDs, also those movies that used to come into our homes through television channels . My family all had their favourites but we all liked the legend , “PREM NAZIR “ equally . I grew up watching his and many other legends films with them, without ever imagining that one day I would be standing here, trying to make one of my own. Decades have passed these words have become stronger in me —Perhaps life is nothing but a search. We keep moving, searching, questioning, trying to find something we cannot always name. Somewhere along that search, I found a story that I felt I had to tell. And finally, I am taking my first step towards making my first Malayalam feature film. There is still a long way to go. A lot to learn. A lot to build. And a lot of people I hope to meet along the way. Many of you have been here with me for years. You have seen pieces of my life in this space — my journeys, my photographs, my videos, my dreams, my failures, my little celebrations… almost everything that I have shared along the way. So, in many ways, I feel like I also have a family here in the insta world. So now as I begin this journey, I want you to be a part of it too. I will be sharing more on the way. I ask for your blessings, your love and your support. And if you feel that you would like to be a part of this journey in any capacity, in any way ,please reach out to me.DM me. I need you guys more than ever. This is not just the beginning of a film. It is another step in a search that has been going on for a very long time. Let us see where this search takes us. #saadiqarn #indiancinema #malayalamcinema #filmmaker #cinema
