Sometimes, changing a life begins with simply showing up.

At 50 years old, Hyleman Iliya, a father of five, found himself facing charges of criminal conspiracy and theft, with an uncertain future ahead of him. Through the pro bono legal services provided by the collaboration between Sharing Smiles Initiative and SSI Solicitors, Hyleman’s story took a different turn.

One year later, his story continues to remind us why access to justice matters.

“Yo mehn, Doctor Klaus just got in from the United States of North Pole.” 😎🎅 for Jingle Round with Doctor Klaus 5.0 (Fifth Edition).

On the 28th of December 2025, Doctor Klaus returned to Owerri for the first time since 2022, partnering with Shia Initiative to bring Christmas cheer to hospital wards, sharing gifts, laughter, and moments of comfort with children and patients spending the holidays away from home.

It’s been five (5) years, over 50 hospitals and more than 1500 children but same vision: to bring hope, warmth and the spirit of Christmas to those who need it most and the journey continues.

❤️Jingle Round with Doctor Klaus 🎅 (5th Edition) 🙌🏾 It could only be God🙌🏾
