28.11 | EYES WIDE SHUT invites Nous’klaer Audio | Wibar Leiden On November 28th, EYES WIDE SHUT joins forces with Nous’klaer Audio for a very special night at Wibar. Founded by Sjoerd Oberman, Nous’klaer has spent years bringing distinctive voices from the Dutch underground into focus, guided by a deep love for adventurous music and the people who bring it to life. Several artists from the label have already graced the EYES WIDE SHUT dancefloor, which makes this collaboration feel close to home. Downstairs, Oberman takes the controls alongside Mary Lake and Loradeniz, representing the label. Drawn to music that moves us as much as it moves the body, we love their instinct for unexpected connections, shifting textures and rhythms that seem to find their own way. Emotion and curiosity take center stage here. Upstairs, the listening room takes on a life of its own with live-show premieres by our dear friends ar.strae and IX/UW. Joining them are AMÆMI, making her way from Milan, and stillblue, known for his coalescing DJ-sets. It’ll be easy to get lost. November 28th at Wibar. We look forward to sharing this one with you. 🫂

Tomorrow, we’re back with a new Synthetic Tales on @90milradio . At the intersection of music, research and sound as a space for emotional and embodied exploration, this edition moves through shifting rhythms, hypnotic textures and dreamlike states of consciousness, featuring the sounds of @elmaragkou , @wwaltteer_ and an intimate spoken-word journey by @amaemi00101 Tune in from 9pm to 11pm CET on the digital waves.  justincase ( @elmaragkou ) treats sound as another way of thinking through feeling, moving across emotional and rhythmic terrains toward new ways of inhabiting the self. Squelchy low-end pressure meets crystalline highs, while off-kilter rhythms dissolve into softness, silliness and sudden bliss. @wwaltteer_ has been orbiting Venice’s electronic music scene for several years, playing an active role within the 100VE collective. His musical exploration spans underground sounds, hypnotic grooves and dark textures, blending percussive rhythms with leftfield influences through a fluid and unpredictable approach to selection. @amaemi00101 explores sound as a space of embodied relation, moving between voice, acoustic instruments, ambient composition and ritual perceptions. Through an intimate spoken-word set weaving poetry, music and voice, she navigates dreamlike landscapes, spirituality as a political act and sensuality as a vessel for altered states of consciousness. A journey into the oneiric and the ecstatic, where imagination becomes resistance and sound opens spaces for connection beyond the human. Artwork by @tornaycass

With a degree in Philosophy, a Master’s degree in Sexology Consultation, a Certificate as a Tantric Yoga Teacher, and having undergone training in Musical Production and Theatre, her work unfolds at the intersection of sound research, embodied listening, and ancestral memory, incarnating a holisitc approach to artistic expression. Hiroshi Ebina Hiroshi Ebina is a Japanese sound artist whose practice spans ambient music composition, gagaku performance—the traditional ritual music of Japan—and minimalist landscape photography across urban and natural environments. After spending several years in Tokyo and New York, he returned to his hometown outside Tokyo in 2018. Takashi Mori 東京・高円寺を拠点に活動する電子音楽家。Dub TechnoやDroneの音響性に、フィールドレコーディングやエクスペリメンタルな要素を織り交ぜ異なる質感の音をコラージュする表現を展開している。 Demsky Hailing from Toronto and based in Tokyo, Demsky is an ambient and downtempo beatmaker whose atmospheric sound has resonated with audiences across Asia and Europe, with performances at festivals including the Wonderfruit Festival, Echoes of Earth, and Intergalactic Festival.
