The website for THE ELEVEN DAYS is live.
Link in bio.

To everyone who applied through the waitlist — thank you. You don’t have to apply again, and your application has already been carried forward.

Those who haven’t, Your wait is over.

Everything is there now: the full itinerary, a short film that brings the valley to life, and what people who’ve been here have to say about it, and mostly covers all the FAQs.

Two things specific to this edition.

1. You’ll learn to build a stone-heated wooden sauna using Himalayan timber joinery — a skill you carry with you. After this, you can build one anywhere.

2. The programme ends as Kullu Dussehra begins. Not Dussehra as the rest of India knows it — deities carried down from villages across these valleys, gathering in one place. Stay on for it if you can.

Thirty seats. The waitlist is already full of serious applications, and the same form is now the application.
So your why is what makes the difference.

Applications close 21 August.

Dates of “the eleven days” : 10–20 October 2026.

Come build and Rebuild something in yourself while you’re at it.

🔔 WAITLIST OPEN - “THE ELEVEN DAYS” BY NORTH

10–20 October 2026 · Kullu Valley, Himachal Pradesh

“Tell my son to protect this house after I die. I can see it in your eyes, the way you look at this old house. Tell him that.”
— an elder, Kalpa Village, 2015

Rahul heard this ten years ago, and it never left. Since then, this has been NORTH’s work; not to preserve a way of building as nostalgia, but to keep it alive as a practicing art, craft, and skill.

This workshop is a step toward not just protecting it, but flourishing it.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD
Step into a living landscape of architecture, craft, and knowledge systems shaped by generations in these mountains. Working alongside local craftspeople, builders, and practitioners, you’ll learn not just how these structures are made, but why they were built this way, and what they still have to teach. Culminating in raising a real stone-and-wood sauna, at AEJA. The joinery, the slate roofing, the heating; knowledge you leave with and able to carry anywhere.

Our last day lands right as Kullu’s own Dussehra begins. Stay on if you want the valley’s biggest gathering folded into your trip.
