This month, I officially stepped into my new role as Public Affairs Bureau Manager at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office! I’m so grateful to Sheriff Chad Chronister for his trust and confidence in me and for this exciting opportunity! Nearly a year ago, I walked away from an eight-year career in TV news, ready for a new challenge. What I found at the Sheriff’s Office was an incredible team that has challenged me, supported me and given me opportunities to learn and grow in ways I never expected. There’s still so much to learn & I couldn’t be more excited to continue growing alongside our Chief Communications Officer, Amanda Granit, and our amazing Public Affairs team! So thankful to be part of #teamHCSO. I’m excited for all that’s ahead! 💚

This was one of the most emotional days I’ve experienced as a journalist. Hundreds of families had to be rescued from their homes, including this family and their dog.

Thank you to all of our first responders for your tireless work and bravery!! 🙏

We’re walking for you, mom 💜

Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. It is currently the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States.
