These four years have been a whirlwind of joy, struggle, growth, and grace. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that no matter how hard life gets, OKWU is my family. I’ve never gone a single day without feeling loved, supported, and prayed for. Thank you for standing beside us through every high and every low.
To my teammates, there aren’t enough words. You are laughter in the hard moments, strength when I wanted to quit, and joy I’ll carry forever. Making history with you has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
Coach Tracie Gillette, I could never fully express my gratitude for the sacrifices and love you’ve poured into my life.
To my amazing parents and my beautiful sister, thank you for believing in every crazy leap I’ve taken, and for staying up through the night to watch every game from across the world. Being so far apart has only brought us closer, and you are my whole heart!

I remember my dad telling me on a road trip to Iowa my senior year that the NAIA national tournament was held there too. Later that year God directed my steps to commit to OKWU. It’s crazy how much time has passed since then, and that yesterday was the last time I put on a jersey. God has taught me performance isn’t my identity and my value isn’t found in anything but who He says I am. With full humility, I admit I’ve struggled with that for years, but now I have overwhelming joy because God has shown me who my true audience is and who He created me to be. He has put love in place of jealousy, patience in place of frustration, peace instead of fear, and confidence instead of insecurity. God gave me the gift of volleyball not for the spotlight but for the friendships, memories, and lessons rooted in a sisterhood. If I could tell you all one last thing it would be; you are not defined by material things or performance but by your heart and who God calls you to be. So love deeply, nurture intently, and glow with kingdom light. I learned that from one of the most important people in my life..

Dad, thank you for being my biggest supporter for thirteen years. I am blessed to be your babygirl. You lifted my eyes from the ground when I thought I wasn’t good enough, wiped the tears on my cheeks, and brushed the dirt off when I fell. You learned a sport because I was passionate about it, and we formed a bond that will never break. You invested in me every step of the journey and taught me to look forward, never back. The memories of our road trips will flicker through my mind every time I hear a Coldplay song. Dad, you are such a reflection of our heavenly Father, and I couldn’t have done this without you. You are my everglow.

To my momma, Pol, my family, coaches, teammates, and all the people who supported me, thank you for all you’ve instilled in me and for being such a beautiful piece of this chapter. This chapter has closed, but its lessons will live on for generations to come. All glory to God.

We want to thank everyone who came out this weekend to participate in our 6th annual sand volleyball fundraiser. It was a great day for sand volleyball and a ton of fun! Also, thank you Texas Tigers & Coach Sean for making our day a success!
