This Guin has officially waddled away…

And just like that, my college bowling career has come to an end. We are national champs!! Words I’ve been repeating all week, yet they still don’t feel real.

I’ve had some time to process everything, but it’s still hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. The early mornings, the long practices, the wins, the losses, the travel weeks, the setbacks, the comebacks. And most importantly, these girls — my teammates who became my family.

It all started with me dropping an F-bomb after my very first shot because I forgot my cheer… to still sometimes forgetting it (or yelling someone else’s instead). And now, the thought of never saying my cheer again? That hasn’t sunk in yet.

To coach, thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and helping me grow as both an athlete and a person. Your dedication and commitment to this program have meant more than words can say. I’ve learned so much from you that I’ll carry with me forever.

To my teammates, thank you for being more than just teammates. You’ve been my biggest supporters, my motivators, and my family. From the laughs to the late-night talks and the unforgettable moments on and off the lanes, I’ll cherish it all forever. Winning a national title with this group made it all the more special. I’m so grateful to have shared this journey with you.

To my parents, thank you for the endless love, the sacrifices, and unwavering support through it all. From taking time off work to travel with me, to spending countless hours at the bowling alley, to the moments of tough love and every single argument, I appreciate it all. I wouldn’t be here without you.

To everyone who’s ever supported me, thank you for always being in my corner. Whether it was a quick message, a call, showing up to watch, or just checking in, your support meant the world and never went unnoticed. You helped make this journey what it was and I’ll always be thankful.

Thank you college bowling, for the memories, the life lessons, the growth, and the friendships. This chapter may be closed, but the impact will stay with me forever 🫶🏻

ISC final 4 and 3rd place finish ✅

After going +74 for 6 games of qualifying I was sitting in 10th place out of the 24 ladies competing. This finish meant I would need to win 3 matches to make it to the TV show finals. The first match was the most emotional of them all as I had to bowl one of my best friends @leah_varela627. Fought through my second and third matches to fortunately win and make it to the ISC women’s final 4. Had a couple of relaxing and fun days to myself before competing this past Saturday on the TV show. Unfortunately lost my first match with a clean 213 to @kylee.trexler04 impressive 235. Proud of the performance I had not only bowling on my first ever TV show but also throughout the week putting up a 217.5 average for 16 games. Be sure to catch the finals airing on CBS Sports Network Tuesday April 22!!

So thankful to everyone who supported me far and near!! Such an amazing week and so glad I got to spend it with some of my favorite people 🫶🏼 congrats to my roomie for the week @jenna_lehrer on also making the final 4 for singles. Also congrats to @kylee.trexler04 on her 2nd place finish and to @erinklemencic06 on the win!!

2025 NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

This past weekend my team and I accomplished the ultimate dream. Hoisting that trophy into the air with all of my girls is something I’ll never forget. The grit, passion, and love exuded by this team is simply unmatched and I will cherish this memory for the rest of my life.

As the weekend brought our team its first national championship it also brought my last ever tournament as a college athlete. I have spent the past five years of my life putting my literal blood, sweat, and tears into the growth of this program, and being able to go out with the biggest accomplishment there is will never be beaten in my mind. My time as a student athlete wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows but it was full of growth, accomplishments, fun, and above all else, LOVE.

I’ve been blessed to be named a two-time All-American and a two-time Elite 90 winner, plus countless other all-tournament team and MVP appearances. None of that comes close to the enjoyment I’ve felt during my time at YSU. Bowling with this group of ladies, led by Coach, has been the experience of a lifetime. One I will never forget.

To everyone out there who has pushed me to be a better person, a better athlete, an overall better version of myself—thank you. My family has been the unwavering rock during this period of my life.

To Coach—none of this would have happened without you. You always say that us girls are the ones who get things done, but YOU are the one behind the scenes, coaching us in all aspects. Thank you for the endless amount of work you have put into my time at YSU.

And to my teammates—how lucky am I to have experienced something that makes saying goodbye so hard? I’m not sure how to move forward from this time of my life but I will be endlessly grateful for the memories we’ve formed over my five years as an athlete. The laughter and joy we’ve shared at hangouts, parties, and on the road is something I’ll miss the most. You all are incredible people and I’m so honored to call you my friends ❤️

There is simply NOTHING like college bowling. Once a Guin, forever a Guin. #19 K-money signing out 💰✨🐧❤️🥹 #GoGuins

ISC NATIONALS IN VEGAS HERE I COME!!

Such an amazing experience competing against some of the best collegiate women in Allen park, MI. This was the first ever year I decided to compete as an individual in the USBC collegiate championships. My goal coming out was to average over 200 and just see what happens since I had never bowled this event before. Had a pretty consistent look in pocket all day, which came with a lot of strikes. Some missed spares here and there made the nerves rise and chance of qualifying for Vegas close. I grinded out a couple of great games to take the 6th and last qualifying spot by 2 pins. Shot 1267 for my 6 games averaging 211 for the day. Excited for Vegas and the rest of the NCAA season with my teammates. Congrats to the 5 other girls who made it to Vegas with me at this section (including my favs @leah_varela627 and @maya.avilez ). Thanks to @janineberg720 , and @alexberg_12 for staying and supporting me and @kyle_perillo300 for being my rock during some rough games of qualifying and in life in general, I love you!! To everyone else here and at home who was supporting me and watching this journey, I can’t thank you to all enough. I am so lucky to have such amazing people in my life!
