The New Media Class works around contemporary and obsolete/archaic forms of media through artistic research and design. By engaging with and subverting new and old technologies these works critically engage with the current social, cultural, economic, and political moment. The presented works span a variety of mediums from more traditional media arts, over installations, to mechatronic apparatuses.

Hi my name is Amanda (she/her)and I’m from sf. I will be going to the Pratt Brooklyn campus for drawing. Besides drawing, I also really like fashion and want to expand into more mediums like printmaking. I enjoy the snow (ice skating and snowboarding), video games, music, anime, k-drama, etc.
I’m excited to meet new people and also hope to find a cool
