What a great day out! Drove to Seaton for a 20 mile race with 1047m of elevation, along beaches, up muddy tracks, through rivers & pub gardens. Thanks to @amandabarrett4254 who was my support crew & took most of these photos & to @tonezonerunners for the great company & inspiration. 19/61 in my age group, 219/470 women & 904/1372 overall. First time I’ve raced further than a half marathon. I followed a @runna marathon program (they didn’t have The Grizzly listed as a race).

Last Parkrun of 2025

Here’s to a healthy, hopeful, and unapologetically positive New Year for us all.

Some days will test you. Some days will surprise you. Some will feel heavy, others full of light. No two days are ever the same, but every single one is worth showing up for. Take each day as it comes, trust your strength, and remember: you’ve already survived everything that once tried to stop you.

Keep believing. Keep wanting more. Keep moving forward. Keep living fully.

We’re still standing. Still growing. Still moving.

See you on the other side 2026 here we come 💫

What an amazing day with my Troopers @bushyparkrun @parkrunuk 20 on a Trooper Meet up who travelled all over the UK to do the inaugural Parkrun

Such a special feeling knowing that the pandemic lockdown brought something amazing to all our lives. Military in Motion. Friendships that started 5 years ago, all different starting points, some of us run some of us walk, but what we have in common is a special bond built on support, fitness, community and love.

“Troopers” From all over the UK, all different ages, abilities, some ran (and got pbs) others walked because of injuries etc, but we all didn’t it. Showed up and ran 5K!
Two first timers and a couple of PBs! 👏🏽

Great to see everyone:

and anyone else following Military in Motion for the LONDON MARATHON TOMORROW

Remember: DO NOT GO OFF TOO FAST AT THE START! Stick to your plan, look at your watch to restrain yourself because of the hype around the marathon and take it all in!!

Can’t wait to see how it goes.
