The room where it happened! 🏙️🎙️

We had the joy of recording our work with @lenorahelm at the legendary Power Station with the Berklee Vocal and Instrumental Jazz ensemble

This studio has seen musical legends such as David Bowie, Sting, Madonna, Herbie Hancock, Bob Dylan, the original cast of Hamilton… Surreal!!

Carnegie Hall❤️❤️

I am still reeling from having played in one of the most amazing venues in the world a few weeks back. From the bottom of my heart, a deep thank you to @lenorahelm @mimijonesmusic @patrice_williamson @allhartmusic for believing in me and making this possible, and thank you to my wonderful friends and bandmates for being so welcoming and supportive of me. These two weeks have included two amazing shows, a recording session @powerstationatberkleenyc and other amazing moments that I still cannot fathom. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life🫶🫶

Oh, Carnegie Hall. 𖥔 ݁ ˖𓂃. ݁˖

I’m still in shock, as I’ve officially made my Carnegie Hall debut with Berklee’s Carnegie Hall Jazz Ensemble directed by the amazing Dr. Lenora Helm Hammonds. We also had the insane opportunity to record at Berklee’s historical Powerstation NYC, taking in the greats that recorded in the same room before us and sing where they once sung. Not to mention, I did this with the best people EVER. Thank you so much for this incredible honor @berkleecollege @lenorahelm . ✨♡
