Meet the Barrel of Sunshine ☀️🥥

Signature drink of Wicked Dolphin @wickeddolphin, the small family distillery in Cape Coral, Florida, promoted alongside their recent special release Rum.

The original calls for a splash of Sprite. I wanted more acidity, so I swapped that for fresh lime juice and soda instead, plus their Tropical Bitters, homemade passionfruit syrup, amaretto, orange liqueur, and their 3-year aged rum, finished with a float of their Black Rum because I love that stuff too much to leave it out.

Bright and sweet up top, but as you drink through the straw it gets drier, boozier, more tiki. Genuinely two different drinks in one glass.

Check the video, link in bio!

1.5oz aged rum (Wicked Dolphin Bourbon Cask Special Release) (4,5cl) @wickeddolphin
0.75oz Black Rum, float (Wicked Dolphin) (2,25 cl) @wickeddolphin
0.5oz Amaretto (Adriatico) (1.5cl) @amarettoadriatico
0.5oz orange liqueur (Pierre Ferrand) (1,5cl) @ferrandcognac
1oz passionfruit syrup, home made (3cl)
1oz fresh lime juice (3 cl)
4 dashes Tropical Bitters (Wicked Dolphin)
1.5–2oz soda water (4,5–6cl) @thomashenryofficial

Irgendwie ist da was unausgewogen, langweilig gewesen. So ehrlich muss man sein!

This year’s novelty was the inclusion of some talks by @the__sheside - as always super eye-opening 🤩

At Hôtel Molitor, the day ended with chocolate mousse, by the pool, as it should.

A cocktail first. Then the tagliata. Then the last spoonful. Then nothing more to want.

Some afternoons close themselves perfectly.
This one knew when to stop.

What’s the meal that made you feel a day was completely done?
