mexican by blood, american by burden 😔✊ german immigrant ✅

photo dump of visiting home back in July for a reunión familiar mixed in w my recent germ life 🥶🇩🇪

Was literally sin papeles for a while waiting on this gahddamn visa to process, then had hella plans fall thru when I did manage to get some in-between papers called a Fiktionsbescheinigung. Basically a doc saying I could stay in the country while waiting on my actual residence permit. What I did NOT realize was that there are three different kinds of Fiktionsbescheinigungen and the one I got was the kind that doesn't let ya cross borders 🥲 so my hopes and dreams of visiting some friends out in Kazakhstan in August/Sept went to shit.

When Sachgebiet Migration und Aufenthalt finally told me they started processing my residence permit and that it'd take four to five weeks at the latest, I had delusions of at LEAST embarking on a lil bikepacking trip to the mountains in Austria to celebrate finally getting it.

Ofc eight weeks later the season has turned and for a Californian mind u it's fuggin cold. I do NOT have the equipment to be wildcamping in the mountains in this kind of weather 😭 In my head I was getting this thing in the warmth of late summer. Instead I have emerged from immigration purgatory just in time for German winter 🥶😔✊

i love my family so much 🙂‍↕️

✨️2026 mantra✨️

One day before my birthday @phil.fol asked me:

"What's your resolution for the next year?"

I hadn't really given it any thought at that point - but strangely enough, without missing a beat, I said:

"I wanna be much more unapologetically myself."

Where did that come from!?

What does that even mean,...

Like,... I *am* me.
It's not like I can - or want to - be someone else.

But somehow, somewhere deep inside there was something that wanted to be seen apearantly. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Phil asked such a simple question.
And yet, it started a whole damn inner process.

Reflecting back on 2025, I realized:
It's been a CRAZY year. 😱

My mom died,
business didn't go at all how I wanted it to,
a lot of friends turned into strangers
and in the middle of all that, I left "home" to start a new life as a perpetual traveller.

What a ride, haha ✨️😎

And the common theme was: transparency.
For the first time in my life I showed myself vulnerable.

Being that raw and open about my inner world felt...

shit.

My nervous system was not happy... 🤣☠️🤡

I've always been the "strong one", handling my chaos and fixed everyone else's as well.

And when I didn't - they left.

I've always smiled and kept my pain hidden.

And when I shared - they've mistaken me for being weak.

I've been giving and giving, because I wanted to.

And when I couldn't - they made me into the villain.

The "I'm here for you"s turned into "it's too much to handle" one by one.

For a long time I wondered why everyone else BUT ME seemed to be allowed to be weak and taken care of.

Why on earth, do I not, deserve the same grace?

What am I doing wrong ffs!?

Easy.

I kept the wrong people around.

So gentle reminder:
Let the trash take itself out. 🙂‍↕️

So much deeper & more nourishing connections will take their place.

Show up as honest as you can - even if it's messy at times.

The good ones will stay.

And have. 💜

Love you guys 💜🧚🏼‍♀️✨️

So with that being said, happy new year...

Season 2 is on 😎😎😎💯✨️
Keep watching

Villa AUX: eingezogen ✔
Zimmer: Baustelle ✔
