Learning by doing!💡⚙️

This evening, The After School Program site leaders participated in a hands-on training at The Amazeum focused on bringing learning to life through engaging, interactive activities! From exploring engineering concepts with circuit blocks and discovering how simple machines work to collaborating and getting creative with pass and build, our team experienced firsthand how play-based learning can spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

By learning through these activities themselves, our site leaders are gaining new ideas and strategies to bring back to their sites and share with the students they serve every day!

Have you been to the new Ozark Discovery Canopy yet? It’s located in the ravine between the @amazeum parking garage and @crystalbridgesmuseum … and it’s free! It’s like a huge outdoor playground that’s nestled in a forest! Go check it out!

Trail Project 2 of 4 for the new walking trail that architect @studiobryanhanes created and I helped with some of the wood for these projects like this Listening Vessel. It’s pretty cool there are two setups like this where you sit in the solid Cypress Bench that I made and you talk right into the metal dish and all the way across the hauler is another one where you can hear the other person perfectly!
Trail is now officially open in between the @amazeum and the New School Of Medicine in Bentonville Arkansas
