Today marks the first day of Women’s History Month, and yesterday we closed out Black History Month.

Yesterday, I had the honor of serving as the 2026 Metroplex Founders’ Day Protocol Chairman. I said yes to our incredible General Chairman, @speakmissnatalie , not fully knowing what I was committing to.

And it became one of the most rewarding leadership experiences I’ve had.

I was reminded that you don’t have to know every detail of the job to say yes. You have to be willing to listen. To learn. And most importantly — to lead.

Leadership is often mistaken for power. It’s not.
Leadership is casting vision.
It’s setting expectations.
And then trusting your team to perform.

Many people don’t know this about me, but I am a real-life, walking introvert. So stepping into a highly visible, detail-heavy role like Protocol stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.

And I didn’t do it alone. I had a phenomenal team — truly phenomenal.

Here’s a short video of a few of my favorite moments.

As we kick off Women’s History Month, celebrate yourself. Your growth. Your yes. Your courage.

If not you… then who?

Still crazy to think I was on a reality show. 0/5 stars wouldn’t do it again but I met some people I’m glad I still have in my life. #ReadyToLove #Dallas #FortWorth #RTL9
