SHEFFIELD!! We simply cannot wait to be back at @sidneyandmatilda on Sunday 8th November 🧡 We’ll be bringing the full 5-piece “21st Century rock’n’roll” band, with songs new and old, plus merch and CDs of our new EP ‘If I See You Around’.

We’re incredibly excited to have some of Sheffield’s very finest musical artists in support…

@amba.sounds are Sheffield’s infectiously groovy 7-piece Latin / jazz / funk / fusion collective, playing original music infused with Bossa Nova, Afro-Cuban, Flamenco and Jazz Fusion. Dylan first met Ámba lead singer @nates_nocturnal a couple of years ago at Nate’s wonderful open-mic at @portlandhousebar. Fast forward to last month when we saw Ámba at their sold-out Hallamshire Hotel headline and were totally enthralled; this really is a top-notch group of musicians and we’re thrilled to have them on the bill.

@maisiejeanandthenoisemachines are one of the hottest new bands on the Leeds scene. Recently formed at @leedsmusicdrama with a sound inspired by grunge and post-punk (think Hole and Joy Division), the band reimagines Maisie Jean’s anarchic ambient electronic pop in a live, guitar-driven setting. Recent shows include Abbeydale Live Festival and a pop-up shop supporting @reverend_makers. Coincidentally we first met @maisiejeanmusic at Nate’s open mic too, so despite three very different genres there is a full-circle element to the lineup!

Had my first merch sale for a local band @amba.sounds comprised of hand painted coasters and bottle openers. I worked alongside @happeningswithhelen who was selling some gorgeous handmade earrings and pendants. It was a great night and lovely to collaborate with other artists and musicians 🤝

Next Saturday (3rd October) I’ll be playing at Peddler’s 13th Birthday on a lineup with some incredible DJ’s, plus TC And The Groove Family.

Me and @alex.aubyn are gonna spin some tunes and do a bit of sassy b2b to finish off Peddler’s main event outside in the courtyard, before some music from Sheffield’s finest at a range of exciting afterparties all around the fringes of the venue. I can’t wait!

It’s free entry and there will be lots of food vendors for you to get your dinner before popping outside for a boogie with us.
