Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁🦃
I have so much to be thankful for.

At the beginning of this year, there was so much uncertainty for what the future held. My family and I moved down to SC back in February of this year and I had never felt so homesick in my life.
I was angry and I didn’t understand why God put us on this path but it’s true of what they say. “You don’t know a good thing until it’s gone.”

Things really started to spiral in May/June when jobs would fall through and nothing in SC would stick or open up for us. On July 7th we were given a choice to make, that would not only help me but my family in more ways than one. We took a leap of faith with a spark of an idea that came to life in less than a month.

I moved back to TN in the beginning of August and it made such a huge improvement in our lives.
I am extremely grateful but also truly blessed to have so many friends in my life that made this transition easier and has made my heart so full.

It is such a gift knowing each and every one of you and I do not take that for granted. I love you all!! 💗

This year has had a lot firsts, including this Thanksgiving being a little bittersweet since it’s the first time without my family. I love you all so very much and wish I could be with you to celebrate. Thankfully we have FaceTime to enjoy dinner and watch Stranger Things 5 together. 😉
I pray going into the new year we’ll have a chance to be together. 🙏🏻

ALSO! It was my first time making my own turkey this year. (It’s gross btw, I had to pull out the neck. It was long 🥴🤢)

I probably needed a hug…so I got on a plane to Nashville and got a hug from everyone. ✈️🧳🫶🏼✨

I had an amazing trip! Seeing my LT family & wonderful friends. I went to my 1st ever book event with @kyleechuaa and of course went to get my hair done with the amazing @too.teased (She is literally magical when she does my hair 🤩)
I missed and still miss them all very much and I’m so happy I went.
The first of many trips. 🥰

Getting through the first major holiday season was far more difficult than I ever imagined. Leaning on my loved ones was my saving grace, and every ounce of joy that was sent my way, I tried my best to absorb and appreciate.

From family visits, a surprise 1/2 birthday party from my dear friends, to my Mabel girl turning 2, there was happiness to be felt.

Every message and check in from friends during this season has reminded me that I do not have to face grief alone, and I am loved and surrounded by people who care about me. I am so grateful to receive that kindness and support from my work team as well.🤍

My greatest gift came from my mother. On Christmas Day my orchid bloomed!! We had bought it together in May and she had joked that she’d be so proud if I could keep it alive until my birthday, which was 2 weeks later. I typically cannot even keep succulents alive, but to great surprise, my orchid is still thriving! Waking up on Christmas morning to a new, bright, bold, pink flower was overwhelming and breathtaking in the best way. And now it has 3 flowers on it with more buds that look like they may open! I believe it is all my mom’s doing and her way of saying Merry Christmas 🌸

In December we did have to say goodbye to Arrow, my beloved nephew pup. I’m grateful to have been raised in a home where animals are not pets, they are family. I have so many beautiful memories and pictures with Arrow Barrow that I cherish, but I wanted to share one of my favorites; Arrow and my mom from last Christmas season 💘 I know in my heart they are together now and guiding us all along down here.

To 2025 we go…💫

🎄The Christmas party with these beautiful ladies was a night to always remember! When you work with people that make it fun and enjoyable, it never feels like work. Even on my sad days these ladies could always lift my spirit and I will miss them dearly. My girls and I enjoyed our last ice skating (outside) experience at the Gaylord Opryland. We practically had it to ourselves! We wished we could have stayed longer but we can only go in circles for so long, lol!⛸️

🎄This Christmas holiday has me grasping at the moments we have left here in TN. Our last day at LT, time with each other and enjoying the holidays, watching the spontaneity of a snow storm❄️, and party time with friends/LT family.

I’m so lucky that I got the chance to work with every single one of these girls. LT has really changed me in such a beautiful way and I’m so grateful for the time that I got to spend with everyone. Even though it hurts to say goodbye for now I know there’s a reason for everything. I love you guys! 🤍
