It’s overwhelming beautiful to see one of your faves marry their person. Happy for my girl, and grateful for my girls. Will be celebrating you both til the end of our days, @_lishhh_. Love you to the moon…and the sun…and everywhere else up there, fr. 🤞🏾

🥹🚨ATTN CREATIVES!!! Motivational Post Only. I was recently on CW and had a visceral flashback to 4 years ago… my 1st premiere in Hollywood. Nobody showed up — no press, no audience, no full theater. Only 1 friend, @shannanejohnson came (after the recording) for the actual screening and @amber.s.j stopped by to show support. That was it.

It was humbling, but it fueled my fire. 4 Hollywood Premieres later… things are slightly different. Closer than I started, Farther than I desire. Somewhere between I want it and I got it! Thank you for every single person that has been apart of the journey.

To any aspiring filmmaker: let this be your reminder. Keep going. Don’t let setbacks stop your motion. Build organically. Don’t wait on validation — just keep building. Upwardly ↑

@mflecknoe thanks for pulling this out my memory bank. Hopefully it serves as some inspiration. Learn more about my new film 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗗 🔗 IN BIO

We had the high honor of hosting the Community Impact Private Dinner in partnership with the @americanredcross

Huge thank you to our incredible friends, leaders, and advocates, all coming together to shed light on the importance of #SickleCell awareness within the African American community.

From the heartfelt conversations and joyous reunions, to Chef Keith Corbin’s amazing dishes, the night was filled with connection, purpose, and unity.

Major love you to everyone who joined us and shared their voices. Together, we’re creating a path toward awareness, change, and hope. Register for the LA Blood Drive at https//rcblood.org/supervsn October 19th @hubblestudio
