Ok so I missed National son’s day. As always so proud of @bartzza . Because of his job it’s hard for him to leave the country or for that matter do any long trips. So I’m doing what I can with him. So far in last 3 months: toured the beaches near his house (ie jekyl island), watched him buy a new Tundra 1784, toured his USS Alaska (his sub) - very cool, toured Cumberland Island, then he drove to west Palm beach to hang with us for Miss America and drove me back to St Mary’s, as the next weekend he drove me to St. Petersburg to do the girls weekend where he hung out until he drove me back to St Mary’s. and then we drove his old truck (Tacoma) across to Phoenix going through ga,fl,al,ms,la,ar,ok,tx,nm…I’ll save that for my next post. So yeah gotta luv this guy!

Catching up on posts - last part of First cruise ever! Vancouver->Seward - day 6&7. Icy Strait point/Hoonah and Disenchantment Bay/Hubbard glacier. Our (@amber_barto , @babybeard203 , Barto and I) stop in Hoonah was quick and we enjoyed it sitting at a bar watching pods of whales go by. However sailing into and out of and making our way to Seward was amazing. We cruised ever so close to the Hubbard Glacier as the captain said the conditions were some of, if not the best. What a last day! 🛳⚓️

Catching up on posts - part 4 First cruise ever! Vancouver->Seward - day 4. In Juneau beautiful day! We (@amber_barto , @babybeard203 and Barto and I) had lots of time until our helicopter tour. So we bar hopped, had a quack shot and ate crab at famous Tracey’s. But my favorite all time memory is the helicopter tour of the Herbert Glacier. Landing and drinking the water was phenomenal. Such amazing views we even flew by the popular Mendenhall glacier but given the privacy of the Herbert tour I recommend Herbert anytime! We ended the night celebrating our 30th anniversary dinner in Juneau and were last to return to ship to find a nice surprise in our cabin. 🛳🚁

Catching up on posts - part 3 First cruise ever! Vancouver->Seward - day 4. In Sitka still very rainy. While Josh @babybeard203 and Amber @amber_barto went kayaking we walked thru the town (well Barto pushed me) - we had some amazing crab from a hole in the wall place (better than our Juneau crab) and watched crazy salmon (see video - crazier than Ketchikan). These salmon would make “fish ladder” to meet their demise of people scooping them up…). Didn’t get many photos in Sitka I guess cause of rain…🚣🦈🦀

Catching up on posts - part 2. First cruise ever! Vancouver->Seward - day 3. In Ketchikan, on a very rainy day, we (@amber_barto , @babybeard203 ) took a boat tour of the misty fjords with beautiful waterfalls, wildlife and later walked to Creek Street to watch the salmon… I did a lot of walking which I learned not so good for me anymore. So I ended my day in the sunset bar. ⛴️🦅🐟

Catching up on posts! First cruise ever! Thanks to Christy Dahl (@charrisd1 ) helping orchestrate…Alaskan Vancouver->Seward - day 1 Vancouver:
Enjoyed two nights in Vancouver mostly Amber (@amber_barto ) and Barto working but dined in beautiful locations . Stressing for Josh @babybeard203 who had a direct flight but ended up with multiple cancellations and ended up flying to Denver for crew change over, onto Sacramento to LAX to finally make it to Vancouver 1 hr before we left. Amber and he were last ones to board… she shopping for him at old navy since he still hasn’t found his luggage… but we got to enjoy watching departure from ships helipad. Also the next day was at sea so they did a sushi making class and she and I did a wine tasting class. We survived the stress! 🛳

Happy national daughter’s day! I’ve been putting her thru quite the rollercoaster this year and she’s been there all the way. From her frequent trips to AZ, keeping up on ALS news, accompanying me on my newly scheduled trips including this picture taken in St Petersburg for a “girls weekend” with two of my close prior work friends! And still helping me schedule more trips … all the while getting my mom some in home doctors visits and keeping busy with her own life and job! Thank you @amber_barto for always hanging with me - we’ve always had a blast now just with a special emphasis! #nationaldaughtersday #youcount

It's official! 💗

I'm so grateful and excited to announce that I will be competing at @missyumacountyscholarshiporg this fall! 💗

I have grown up in pageants since I was five years old in the Cinderella Program! I have been a Cinderella girl for nine years, and it holds such a special place in my heart. 💗

In 2017, I was a Miss Arizona Princess for my mom's cousin Lauren. I was a Princess all the way from age 5 to age 11. As soon as I stepped on the stage to be crowned by Lauren, I knew that I would someday want to be standing up on that stage being the role model that little me looked up to. 💗

I have made so many memories and friendships in pageants and I'm so excited to continue making more! 💗

After spending the last year and a half away from pageants, I’m so excited to be stepping back onto the Miss Arizona stage. Ever since watching Miss Arizona in 2011, I’ve dreamed of becoming Miss Arizona and competing at Miss America. After 15 years of waiting, that dream is finally starting to feel real. With just over 2 months until I officially begin my journey in the Miss division, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself...

I started competing in pageants at just 2 years old, having been involved with the Miss Arizona Organization as a princess, a teen contestant, and now as a Miss contestant! This was my first summer without competing at a state or international pageant. In recent years, I’ve also gotten to experience pageantry from behind the scenes, helping run local pageants throughout Arizona.
