Why did I start Unbreakable?

I didn’t start Unbreakable because I loved sales.

I started it because sales changed my life.

At 22 years old, I was broke, broken, sick, and living out of my car.

I didn’t have a great résumé. I didn’t have connections. I didn’t have money to fall back on.

What I did have was an opportunity.

I went out for a summer and knocked doors.

Four months later, I had made over $100,000.

My life changed, but the money wasn’t the most important thing I gained.

It was the person I had to become to earn it.

I learned that your circumstances don’t have to determine your future.

I learned how to endure pain while keeping my commitments. Chasing the vision I created for myself despite set back after set back and battling Lyme Disease.

Door-to-door taught me how to hear “no” over and over again and keep moving. How to show up when I didn’t feel like it. How to believe in myself before there was much evidence that I should.

Year after year, I kept applying those lessons. Eventually, that broke 22-year-old kid made millions.

That experience became the foundation of the name Unbreakable: building the mindset to continue through rejection, adversity, pain, and uncertainty.

That’s why I started Unbreakable.

It was never supposed to just be another sales company.

I wanted to build a place where young people could discover within themselves what I discovered in my self.

I wanted to create an environment where we adopt the greatest key to success - an Unbreakable mindset.

Lake Powell leadership retreat was amazing, so grateful to everyone who came and put in the work to be here.

Trips like this are easy to look at from the outside and only see the boats, the views, the wake surfing, and the good times.

But that’s not really what makes them special.

What makes them special is knowing what it took to get here.

The doors knocked.
The uncomfortable conversations.
The rejection.
The long days.
The moments you questioned yourself but kept showing up anyway.

There’s something powerful about being surrounded by people who are all choosing to push themselves, build something bigger, and become someone better in the process.

These moments aren’t an escape from the work.

They’re a reminder of why the work is worth it.

You don’t accidentally build a life you’re proud of. You earn it through the decisions nobody celebrates, long before you get to experience the moments everybody sees.

That’s what this retreat represents.

Keep growing. Keep pushing. Keep becoming unbreakable
