Another Successful Event in the Books!

Now that today is Of-Fish-Ally Earth Day, we would like to share our gratitude to all of our amazing volunteers, sponsors and supporters who helped make a difference yesterday at our annual Earth Day Clean Up! We saw some familiar faces and met great new friends who we look forward to collaborating with in the future!

CEO & Founder Makayla switched up her regular pre-clean up routine of going to Ocean Front Walk and focused on lifeguard tower 19 and the shore.

Local surfers not only removed trash from the ocean, but participated in the event after they enjoyed the waves!

Above all, our volunteers collected over 110 Pounds of trash! Excellent Work Everyone!

“Join us in our mission at My Friend’s House Foundation, where we have been passionately serving our community in Los Angeles County. With our dedicated volunteers’ efforts, we have successfully distributed food, clothing, toiletries, and other essential items to over 750,000+ individuals experiencing food insecurity or homelessness.

Our goal is to inspire self-esteem and confidence in these individuals, enabling them to lead healthy, productive lives. Our comprehensive programs not only provide immediate aid but also promote self-sufficiency through job opportunities and health-focused initiatives.

We strive to meet the needs of at least 700+ people weekly, responding directly to the urgent needs in our community. Our volunteers do this with a profound sense of compassion, empathy, and understanding, forever working towards a brighter future for all in Los Angeles County.
