You can be grateful and still have a hard day. ❤️

During my Bloom TV interview with Amber Freeman on WFLA News Channel 8 in Tampa Bay, we talked about finding gratitude in difficult times—without pretending everything is okay.

You can acknowledge what hurts and still ask, “What else is there?” What love, support, or small moment of joy is here, too?

That’s the heart of my book, Gratitude Through the Cracks. Grief and gratitude can coexist.

What is one thing you’re grateful for, even in a difficult season?

GREAT SCRIPT. WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?

You can have beautiful words on a page and leave everybody feeling absolutely nothing.

AI can help you write. You still have to show up in what you’re saying.

What do YOU believe?
Why do YOU care?
What have you lived that gives those words meaning?

That takes some inner work. Getting honest with yourself. Knowing what matters to you. Being willing to let somebody hear it.

When you say something you actually believe, there’s a human being behind those words. We get to meet you.

Before you record that next video, read your script out loud and ask:

“Do I actually talk like this? Do I actually MEAN this?”

Bring your life into your words. Let your soul and spirit come out and say hello.

Follow me. Let’s get more of YOU into your voice.

“I’M JUST TRYING TO FILL SPACE.”

A client said that to me on a call.

Man. How often do we do that?

We keep talking because the room got quiet. We reach for something that sounds good. Meanwhile, there’s something inside us we actually want to say.

LET THAT PART TALK.

I believe there’s an inner knowing in each of us. Our soul has something to share. Our ego gets involved. Our body becomes the instrument that delivers it.

And when those things line up? You can feel it when somebody speaks.

There’s a real human being coming through. You get to meet THEM.

Before you fill the next silence, give yourself a second.

What do you actually want to say?

You have ONE soul to share. Let your soul and spirit come out and say hello.

Follow me. Let’s get more of YOU into the conversation.

IS THE MATRIX COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH?

You’re talking. Words are happening. And everybody’s looking at you like, “What the hell did you just say?”

I hear this with speakers, teachers, and leaders.

And it follows us home.

You’re trying to connect with your partner. Talk to your kids. Get your team excited about where you’re going.

But are YOU emotionally connected to the words coming out of your mouth?

Can they hear why you care? Can they feel the love, the excitement, the conviction?

Give them something to connect WITH.

Before your next conversation, ask yourself: “Why does this matter to me?”

Take a second to actually feel the answer. Then let that come through when you speak.

Where is this hardest for you: with your team, your partner, or your kids?

Follow me. Let’s get your words to mean something when they leave your mouth.

When’s the last time you’ve slid into someone’s DM‘s? @orion.taraban says while dating apps are still the leading way people are meeting who they will eventually marry…there seems to be a small change in engagement. He believes there are four ways to meet your potential partner and you shouldn’t rely solely on the apps. So, you might want to expand your options and take that risk! Tell us what you think… Are you still on the apps? If so, what’s your favorite? Listen to the full episode on our podcast, @bloomhealthclub and let us know if you agree. Good luck out there and happy dating! 💕

GIVE ME THE GOOSEBUMPS.

You know that moment at a concert when somebody sings and you feel it through your whole damn body?

Or someone starts telling their story, and suddenly you’re tearing up?

THAT’S what I’m talking about.

Our body is our instrument. It’s how who we actually are gets to come out and meet somebody.

When I hear someone speak or sing, I’m listening for their soul and spirit to come out and say hello.

Let me feel what matters to you. Let me hear the love, the joy, the heartbreak. Give me a chance to connect with the human being sharing it.

That’s the goal. That real, goosebumps-on-your-arms connection.

Who’s a singer or speaker who does that for you? Give me a name in the comments.

Follow me. Let’s bring more of YOU into your voice.

LET PEOPLE MEET YOU.

The YOU who laughs too loud. Gets fired up. Loves deeply. Has something to say and actually gives a damn.

How often do you squash that person because you’re worried about what somebody might think?

I want to hear what you care about. Tell me the story. Let me hear the excitement. Give yourself a second to feel what you’re saying.

That’s where we get to connect.

You have ONE soul to share. Let your soul and spirit come out and say hello.

We’ve spent enough time rehearsing how to be acceptable. Let’s get good at being ourselves.

Where are you ready to quit holding back?

Follow along. We’re putting your whole damn self into your voice.

From the choir classroom to the TV studio. LET’S GO!

Getting to share this work on Bloom TV was a moment I’ll never forget.

For years, I’ve watched people discover what happens when their voice finally matches who they are. The shoulders drop. The smile shows up. The words start to mean something.

That’s the work I got to share on television. And I’m so damn grateful.

Thank you to the Bloom team for welcoming me and giving this mission a bigger stage.

You have ONE soul to share. Let your soul and spirit come out and say hello.

Where do you want to feel more confident using your voice? Tell me below.

What if some of the struggles we experience are connected to a question we rarely stop to ask ourselves: Do I matter?

Loneliness, anxiety, depression, and burnout have different causes, but our sense of mattering can be an important part of how we experience our lives and relationships. Feeling unseen, undervalued, or disconnected can affect how we understand our place in the world.

In my conversation with @amberfreemantv on @bloom_tv, we explored how our sense of mattering can change across different seasons of life. Sometimes we feel deeply valued and connected. At other times, that sense of connection becomes harder to find.

Recognizing this can change what we pay attention to. Beyond asking how well we're performing or how much we're accomplishing, we can ask whether our relationships allow us to feel valued, whether our contributions make a difference, and whether the care we give is also being returned.

🗨️What could you change in your everyday life to strengthen your sense of connection, purpose, and mattering?

📕 In 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁, I fully examine this fundamental human need and how we can cultivate it in everyday life. Learn more at matteringeffect.com [Link in Bio]

🚨 Want to age healthier? Start with 150 minutes a week! 💪❤️

Healthy aging starts with the habits you build TODAY. 🏃‍♀️

In my recent interview with @amberfreemantv on @bloom_tv, we discussed why aiming for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise each week is an important step toward healthy aging and long-term health.

✨ Regular physical activity can help support:
❤️ Heart health
🧠 Brain health
💪 Strength and mobility
🩺 Lower risk of chronic disease
🌿 Healthy aging and longevity

And the best part? You don’t have to do it all at once! Try brisk walking, cycling, swimming, or another activity you enjoy. Even small steps count.

This is your ur reminder to move more, sit less, and invest in your future health. 🙌

💬 How many minutes of physical activity are you getting each week? Let me know in the comments
