« I’m literally obsessed with your due diligence package product. More VCs need to know about this. » Amber runs a Silicon Valley VC fund. She runs their entire due diligence on Lexsy before closing seed rounds. Why? Because Lexsy gives investors a complete legal scan of any portfolio company in a fraction of the time. Corporate gaps, missing stock issuances, 83(b) issues, unassigned IP. Everything that kills deals post-close, caught before you wire. Lexsy is also built for investors, not just founders. Faster due diligence. Fewer blind spots. Deals that close clean. ➡️ Comment « LEXSY » to see how it works. #venturecapital #duediligence #startuplaw #legaltech #lexsy

Curated beats crowded. Especially in the age of Al. When people show up in person now, they are not looking for a crowd. They want the one conversation that actually matters. That is why the room is getting smaller. Five to eight people. Each one already vetted. At The Council, Amber builds gatherings around first builders turned founders. People who took products, teams, and processes from zero to one. They invite a few they trust. Each brings a friend. A handful of RSVPs get handpicked from there. By the time everyone walks in, they know the room was thought through. That is what makes the connections real. Full episode is out now on YouTube. AI can read a transcript. It cannot read a room. You can feed a transcript into AI and ask what someone really meant. Sometimes it gets close. Sometimes the read is completely off. Because the transcript does not show the pause. It does not show the reaction. It does not show the concern in the room. Amber saw it with her own eyes. She felt what shifted in the conversation. That is the kind of signal AI cannot fully capture. Taste. Strategy. EQ. The ability to understand what a person actually needs is still the edge. Full episode is out now on YouTube. Design isn't dead. It’s becoming the key differentiator. @georgiarust3 on why craft matters more in the AI era, not less. Georgia is the Creation Engine Product Lead at Figma, and she just took the main stage at Config 2026 with ten thousand designers in the room. The core question the episode answers: when AI can generate anything, who shapes what's actually worth making? I’ve found repeatedly that investing on my own conviction vs following the crowd can made a magnitude of difference. Also, I’ve actually invested in 65+ companies across my angel portfolio, Fund I, and Fund II which we are deploying now. The reel refers to my learnings as a VC specifically 😉 #Amberillig #firstbuilders #startupfunding #startupfounder venturecapital

This company I invested in last year at launch just raised $11.5M after 7 months of tremendous growth! Did you know that metal servicing in North America was a $100B+ market? What sneaky huge market are you building in?? #Preseed #startupfunding #amberillig #startupfounders #venturecapital

Health insurance was built for large employers. 70 million+ 1099 and self-employed Americans got what was left over. Wyatt Stokesberry worked inside of a health plan focused on the employer market, then left to build one from scratch, designed specifically for 1099 workers. What does it actually take to redesign health insurance for the business of one?
