Watching the last World Cup so closely 4 years ago, I would never have imagined that Iā€™d be WORKING on this one!! Thank you @cocacola and @dkirola for the opportunity of a lifetime. And special thanks to @harrisonwongdp for believing in me from the start of the FIFA tour! Shoutout the team on the ground, you guys make work feel like play :) @kgmadeit1 @ethan.byrne and thank you Ethan for the photo. Itā€™s really nice. My mom will probably frame it.

If the aesthetics allow for it, use handheld mics in extremely loud environments. I wish I had BTS of this, truly it was so loud you couldnā€™t have heard me if I was screaming a few feet away from you. *Text messages from the editor shared with permission* Video for @shoepalace Prod: @sampersall Dir: @drewroper DP/Edit: @dir.joshjones

My Coming Out storyšŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ Recreated for AAPI Heritage Month + Motherā€™s Dayā¤ļø When I was 24, I ā€œcame outā€ to my parents as lesbian via group textšŸ˜… I was terrified. My dad replied instantly with support, but my mom didnā€™t reply & didnā€™t speak to me at all for a few months. It broke my heart to think she didnā€™t support me. But later that year, I went home for the holidays to an unexpected surprise. My mom said, ā€œI was thinking of you when I was out. Got you some clothes. Theyā€™re in your roomā€. Upon walking into my childhood bedroom, a pair of RAINBOW pajamas was waiting for me on the bed. Though my mom never spoke of it, I knew it was her way of saying that she loved & accepted mešŸ„° Asian cultures donā€™t typically show affection the same way as other cultures. Instead of saying, ā€œI love youā€, we cook for each other. Instead of a big hug, we often embrace each other with a soft glance & smile. While this gesture of rainbow pajamas may not seem like much, it meant the world to me & I know it took a lot of courage/resilience for my mom to do itāœØ HUGE thank you to my incredible cast & crew for helping me bring this true story to life! This is, by far, the most personal piece that Iā€™ve ever created. It was an absolute honor to be able to collaborate with a real-life family of actors and shoot the entire project in their family homešŸ™šŸ¼ If this film/message resonates with you, please drop a comment & sharešŸ’ ā€”Olivia A narrative spec commercial for @kohls -Writer/Director/Editor: Olivia Wong šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø @oliviawong11 -Production Company: OWong Productions @owongproductions -Producers: Olivia Wong šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø @oliviawong11 Monique Magpayo @moniqueburiasshi Larry Tang @larry.tang08 -Starring: Monique Magpayo @moniqueburiasshi Marisa Magpayo + Carlos Magpayo Jr. -DP/Colorist: Larry Tang @larry.tang08 -1st AC: Aaron Cheung @acheung_ -Gaffer: Chase Okimura @muralighting @chaseoki -Key Grip: Min Kee Kim @tirekim -AD/Scripty: Natalie Dang @naatdee -Sound (on set/post production): Amber Li @amberlisound -BTS Photographer: Soohyun Song @kimchi_butt -BTS Videographer: CJ Stanton @stxntxn -Composer: Jacob Katz @jkatz.composer #aapiheritagemonth #mothersday #comingout #lgbtpride

We wrapped filming on RESET. Itā€™s honestly surreal, this started as an idea I had years ago, something small that just kept growing. To now be on the other side of production feels incredibly special. Itā€™s such an honor to be able to make something like this at all, to take an idea and bring it to life with people who care just as deeply. This project was nurtured and shaped by my incredible collaborators, and an amazing team who believed in it every step of the way. The amount of support I felt throughout this process is something I donā€™t take lightly. Our cast and crew were truly exceptional. The performances are incredible, and behind the camera, everyone showed up with talent, passion, and generosity. More than that, we all genuinely got along it was the kind of set where you looked forward to showing up, to catching up, to building something together every day. And what we madeā€¦ itā€™s bigger than I imagined. It really feels like we have something special. In a lot of ways, this project has been a reset for me too, but more than anything, it feels like a beginning. Iā€™m incredibly proud of what we captured and feel confident heading into post. Weā€™ll be in post over the next few months and canā€™t wait to share more soon. Thank you for being part of this. Daniel Photos by @mr.continuity

Hey everyone, Weā€™re officially in the final hours of the RESET campaign, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The support this film has received from friends, collaborators, and complete strangers has meant the world to our team. Independent films only exist because people believe in them enough to show up, share them, and support them and thatā€™s exactly what you all have done. Every donation, message, and repost helped push this project forward, and weā€™re incredibly grateful to have such an amazing community behind us. If youā€™ve already supported the campaign, thank you so much. And if youā€™ve been thinking about jumping in, thereā€™s still time to donate before the campaign closes. Letā€™s finish strong and bring RESET to life. #indiefilm #kickstarter #fundraising #scifi

Truly blown away. ā¤ļø @resetshortfilm2026 is at 95% funded. What means even more to me is that just like my last film, this one is being made possible by this incredible community. Thatā€™s not something I take lightly. Independent films donā€™t happen alone, they happen because people choose to believe in them. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, texted friends, reposted, and cheered us on. RESET only exists because of you. We just need one last push to cross the finish line. And the exciting part? Any funds raised beyond our goal will go directly toward stretch goals ā€” elevating production design, strengthening post, and making this world feel even bigger, sharper, and more cinematic. Letā€™s bring it home. šŸ”„ #kickstarter #funding #shortfilm #comedy #indiefilm filmmaking
