Community. It can be so easy to isolate when moving to a new city. That feeling of starting over can be overwhelming. BUT, the greatest gift you can give yourself is courage. Act on that 20 seconds of courage when you have it, because it could create blessings ten-fold in your life.

Dallas has been the easiest city to move to yet. Not because it’s a big city or the people are better here. But, becauseI jumped in immediately. It can be so easy to make excuses and wait until you feel settled to start creating community. Don’t do it. Jump in. Have the awkward conversations. Go through the uncomfortable moments to find YOUR people.

If you are unsure where to start, find a church that feels like home. @shorelinecity has blessed me more than I can even express. Find a local girl’s group. Be the one to invite someone over that you just met. Organize an event if you can’t find one that fits your hobbies. Talk to people at the grocery store.

I will never regret finding my community so quickly here. It’s worth it.

College golf has been nothing but a blessing!

To learn and grow as a golfer and person is all I wanted to do, but to be surrounded by amazing people is something I will never forget. This year’s team has an extra special place in my heart for all the love they have shown to me as my best friends. We have accomplished many things that I would have never dreamed could be possible and to be part of that is incredible.

I am blessed to be able to continue my journey into professional golf, which is something I have dreamed of since I was a little girl. Starting at the Texas Women’s Open next week. Let’s do this!🫶🏾💕

I’ve never been short of mushy words and have had somewhat of an insecurity about this since I was young. I was the picture taker growing up, the “I love you guys” girl every time I left friend gatherings, the one wondering why it felt like “I love them more than they love me,” and I’m still the person talking to the stranger in the airport about their uncle’s grandma’s cat 😅🤷🏽‍♀️

So when people celebrate me for who I am, it means so much and gives me confidence in who God really created me to be. So thank you to everyone who celebrated me yesterday. These pictures are a few of those people. I’m grateful and it makes my heart ABSOLUTE MUSH!!!!!!
