‼️‼️‼️Update: We are canceling this event due to the weather. It’s hard to predict how extreme the rain will be and every area experiences the rain differently. We are mindful of your safety when it comes to roads and drivers during desert rains! ‼️‼️‼️

TAKE THE BOOK CLUB ON THE ROAD 📚🚙
We’re taking Asdzáá Yoółta Book Club on a little field trip. Inspired from @ambersometimesreads

Instead of meeting in one place, we’re spending the day reading our current book and having lite conversations at three different coffee shops around Las Vegas. At each stop, we’ll settle in for 30 minutes of reading before packing up and heading to the next location.

You can:
☕️ Join us for the entire route
📖 Meet us at one of the stops
🚗 Coordinate a rideshare with another reader

Want to ride along? 🚙
Little Cat will be driving and have room for up to 6 attendees to join them for the full reading route!
We’ll meet at a designated meeting spot, carpool together to each coffee shop, and head back to the meeting spot at the end. If you’re interested in riding with Little Cat, let them know and they’ll add you to a group chat so we can coordinate the details together. Our bio link has a Google Maps link of the coffee shop locations for “Read Around Town”

Challenge accepted! 📚

* After the Fall – Edward Ashton

Full transparency: this isn't my idea.

@ambersometimereads did the rainbow book challenge at Barnes & Noble and it's been stuck in my head ever since. I commented that I was gonna steal it and thrift-ify it, she told me to tag her when I did 🤍 so — this is that tag.

Plot twist: I went thrifting for this and came up empty handed 😭 so round one is shopping my own shelves instead. The actual thrifted version is still coming. How many trips it's gonna take me to find 7 colors, I have no clue.

Also Salem insisted on being part of this one, so we filmed on the bed 🐾

Go follow @ambersometimereads if you don't already, her video is so good.
