celebrated international mahjong day at my house with some of my fave mahj friends! We played on my very first vintage set that I just got! 😲

I was initially having a little buyer’s remorse wondering if I made the right decision but after playing with them, I do think I’m in love. 🥰

Then we playing on @maisonmahj Cabo - as my friend @melissameekskilian was not initially a fan but I told her they were just lovely and promised she would fall in love with them once she did. Sure enough, she found them to be very high quality, attention to detail and had her initials so of course she loved them 🤣

I don’t normally love playing with 5 but we rotated East out each time and spent time shopping for mahjong things we don’t need when we were waiting for our next turn!

Great day with women I love and enjoying mahjong.

there’s just something about opening a new mahjong set for the first time 🀄️

the colors, the details, the excitement of spotting your favorite tiles as the walls go up...

a little moment that every mahjong lover understands.

what’s the first tile you look for in a new set?

This salsa’s been haunting our palate since the day we had it… it was THAT good 👀🌶️👻

We checked out @twosteptaqueria tucked inside @ghostlinekitchens and honestly… there’s NOTHING low-key about the flavor here 😮‍💨 and will have you two stepping in no time!

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful and PACKED with unique twists.

What we got 👇

🥑 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗢𝗟𝗘 + 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗔
The guacamole was incredible, but THAT salsa??
Perfect heat, amazing flavor, and seriously one of the best textures/consistencies we’ve had in a while. Legit addictive. if you need a reason THIS is it!

🌮 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗦
These completely surprised us 👀
Made with dehydrated peas rehydrated in salsa verde with mushrooms + calabaza squash so they’re loaded with flavor.

🥗 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗡 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗔 𝗕𝗢𝗪𝗟
Our FAVORITE 😮‍💨
The smoky citrus chicken was perfectly cooked and we loved the unique toppings like watermelon horseradish + poblanos + onions.

🥬 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦
Smoky, crispy, and honestly a sleeper hit.

🌯 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗢
Loaded, flavorful, and super satisfying.

🍫 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗞𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗬 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧
An absolute mouthful 😅
The cinnamon sugar crust + chocolate ganache combo somehow worked SO well together.

They’ll also be opening a brick-and-mortar soon 👀 but in the mean time don’t be scared to give’em a try!

Just be prepared to be haunted (in the best way)… and don’t say we didn’t warn you 🌶️👻
