Freedom is a blessing that many of us take for granted but to be honest it is one of the greatest. The reason why we celebrate Independence Day every year with great zeal and enthusiasm is to commemorate the journey of sacrifice, hard work and faith which lead us to the freedom that we are enjoying today. Although it's hard to admit but more than enjoying, we are exploiting this freedom using it to become a reckless nation day by day. But it's never too late to mend our ways. All we need is a positive mindset and a strong will to change. We have so many resources, we just need to utilize them wisely. We need to educate our younger generation to be compassionate, focused, hardworking and law abiding citizens and we cannot do this unless we give them our own example to follow. This homeland was created after many sacrifices. Blood of so many precious lives is in the foundations of this country and many more continue to lay down their lives every single day to keep it safe from enemies. It breaks my heart to see it in so many troubles like poverty, injustice, security issues etc. It's also disturbing to see our culture under the foreign influences. But all these problems are not without a solution. In fact, we are the solution. If we correct ourselves and give our children a better upbringing, we can hope for a brighter future. Many of our internal problems can be solved only by learning how to be empathetic, understanding and tolerant towards each other, by extending our help, support and encouragement to those in need. Help more and judge less attitude, is all that we need. I hope that we all see this country prosper in the true sense and play our active role in achieving this goal. Ameen.

Happy Independence Day to all of my fellow country men.

Also take care of each other, of those who need sustainance while staying at home. Follow the instructions, spread awareness and encourage each other. Pray, have faith. We are in this together and will come out of it together.
