I am a BLACK MAN! I am a son. I am a brother. I am a Mental Health Specialist. I am a friend. I am I athlete. I am a grandson. I am a human being...... I build.... I don't tear down other BLACK MEN! ....I have felt the pain of being torn down and racially prosecuted by the system, multiple times. I have had officers put their guns in my face and yell at me. I have been afraid that in that moment I thought I may be killed like all the others I’ve seen on social media. That being said, I have decided I will be deliberately building others up! If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!🌟 Upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down. ♥️♥️ COPY AND PASTE ♥️♥️
If I tagged you, don't disappoint me!!

I AM THANKFUL: 𝔻𝕒𝕪 2

When the mother of my child and I ended our relationship, I was truly in a dark place. I wasn’t motivated to do anything, I found myself isolated from everyone, and hiding what I was enduring by throwing myself into working. It wasn’t healthy at all. Each one of you offered your assistance without judgment.
You never gave up on me, and for that my appreciation goes further than words can express. I am blessed to know that you are in my corner. •

Have you ever lost all motivation? The heart has no bias for which energy it pumps. The thoughts of the mind feed the heart that fuels the body. Time and time again I have found myself filtering my pain through avenues that would not bring me the healing that I needed. HEALTH IS PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL, AND MENTAL. Neglecting one is neglecting self. Make sure that you have a healing circle of people around you that will help redirect a destructive path. Appreciate those people! They are not easy to find!
