One afternoon in late March this year, I was driving home from the fabric store. It was an intense and overwhelming season of business. The kind of growth I had prayed for, wished for, and worked towards hit me like a wave at the start of February, and while I thought I was ready, I wasn’t. As I passed our local golf course, ‘Goodness of God’ came on shuffle. I burst into tears. Not pretty tears. Overwhelmed. Exhausted. Quietly begging God to help me, muttering ‘ek kan nie meer nie’ for what felt like the thousandth time so far this year. I prayed out loud (something I didn’t really do before that moment) and somehow, I felt a little lighter when I got home. Fast forward to early November. Same road. Same spot. Same song. And once again, I cried, but this time not because I wanted to give up. This time I cried because what had completely overwhelmed me in March had become my normal. Something I could handle almost without thinking. Growth is uncomfortable. It stretches you. Tests you. Takes everything from you. Whether you’re building a business, a career, a family, or yourself, I am constantly reminded that nothing worth having comes easily. 2025 shaped me in a way that I was not prepared for but in a way that I am so grateful for now. Sometimes growth doesn’t get easier, YOU just get stronger. And He is ALWAYS enough and ALWAYS comes through no matter how dark things might seem 💛 And to every single person who has supported Flikker this year, photographed or not, thank you. My list of people who have walked this journey with me and this brand is long, and I am endlessly grateful. Every like, every comment, every order, every message of encouragement… none of it goes unnoticed. This brand is built on community, and I truly wouldn’t be here without you. To a MAGICAL 2026 💛

Perfect way to utilise our lounge pockets in our venue. ✨👀 We loved this winter wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect. 🤩 August in the Weskus is often not booked, but the weather is actually so good! The flowers have started popping up, the landscape is green, and there is almost never wind. 👀 Oh, and of course, you might even see a whale 🐋 or two on the horizon!

Shoot Scenes 💙 In the hustle and bustle of life, we often forget to pause and appreciate the incredible opportunities that come our way. Today I was once again reminded of how grateful I am for a life filled with abundance and possibilities, opportunities I always strive to embrace with both hands. Crazy to think it’s been 10 years since I first began my journey in the world of fashion. I think back to 18-year-old Amber, stepping into FEDISA with equal parts excitement and fear, never imagining that this would one day be her life. All glory to You, God 💙
